Re: Magus PvP Guide
Currently at 26 just do whatever you want, your damage is low, you have no spike, and dots are easy to heal due to the large amount of healers.
I logged in today and saw a bunch of destro on /ad stating how Magi outdamage Sorcs.....wtf :>

Re: Magus PvP Guide
I can write you a brief guide.
You have three paths:
Havoc is Elemental long range single target DD.
Changing is mid range Spirit AoE DoT and single target DD.
Daemonology is short range AoE DD and survivability.
Thus, combining these you get a couple of specs.
You can go Havoc/Changing or Changing/Havoc - pure caster spec, put more points in whichever path you want neither 13 point ability is particularly amazing, but you can grab them for AoE padding.
Or you can go Havoc/Daemon or Changing/Daemon, For Havoc/Daemon, you are essentially just wanting to grab Aegis. If your Changing/Daemon you may also want the 15% damage tactic.
The last spec is Daemon/Changing and Daemon/Havoc. These are your "pull" based specs. If maxing Daemon you want to stack survivability in stead of damage usually, although you shouldnt have no damage of course. Going havoc nets you a disarm, and going changing will give you a little more damage.

This is 2016. Why do the devs allow the magus to continue to be overpowered?

I would not say do whatever you want in 26, the only choice that is somewhat viable at this point in the game for magus is to go changing to get Indigo fire of change which is really good. No reason to go Havoc yet when you don't have withered soul which you get in lvl 31. And don't go Daemonology for obvious reasons.

You're entitled to your opinion. You have no burst, you have no sustained. You're there to hopefully time stagger/SoI on healers/casters and pray that there's not more than 1 healer around.Chsuan wrote:Renork wrote:Currently at 26 just do whatever you want, your damage is low, you have no spike, and dots are easy to heal due to the large amount of healers.
