I think I am bugged

So it has been explained to me that you need to do scenarios to get emblems and medallions. I have no problem getting the emblems (to buy the SC weapons) however I have NEVER seen a medallion dropped or earned a single medallion from any form of RvR. This is rather frustrating because it leaves me only to buy the RvR gear for money.

Is that how it is suppose to be currently or did I miss something? Are the medallions SUPER rare because I have not seen ANY in my time of playing. Is there some patch I missed? Or are the medallions and emblems synonymous with each other and renown armor can be bought with emblems?

Don't take this as me complaining please I am just honestly curious what is going on because from what I have gathered from those also playing is that you get the medallions from scenarios and they have no problem getting them. Is there something I am not doing that is preventing me from getting or even seeing/rolling on the medallions?

Any help is appreciated. I am not alone in this my wife is also in the same situation as I am.

that's what I thought but asking other people has lead me to believe otherwise. Regardless, I have not seen a medallion drop or earned in either form in any fashion. :\

Yeah both my wife and I are not getting any from either of those means or any other means. So we are kind of at a loss as to what to do in order to get medallions because we currently are not receiving any from anything. Or even getting a chance to see let alone roll on them. as far as we were concerned they weren't part of the game because we have never seen one.

in t1 u had to be flagged for rvr / be in rvr zone when your realm lock a zone.

no idea how its in t2 atm but before u had to be in keep area when your realm killed a keep lord to get medailons. its zone-wide atm?

try ask others if they recieved medailons when your realm lock a zone to be 100% sure

only in t2? I remeber fighting zerg vs. zerg near festen in t1, around 15 kbs, not a single medailon

So I have to physically type in /rvr (or whichever the command is to flag myself) in order to roll for medallions? Because it says I am flagged for RvR and I can participate in RvR normally. My entire time spent in WAR is either in the lakes or Scenarios. When I am in a zone for a takeover I am always at the keep sitting in the Keep Lord's room. Like I said in my initial post the people that I have asked have told me you get them now from scenarios only.

I'm fine with not getting them if no one else is getting them obviously. And I am also fine with never getting any because I am out rolled for them, it is just fair. However, I would at least like to know that I am losing out on them by my own poor rolls rather than just being omitted from having the chance to ever have them period.
