Swordmaster Advice

So what is the what on this lvl 25 Swordmaster.

I run out of AP immediately. Am I attacking too fast? Is there a way to conserve AP outside of just standing there doing nothing.

I started using sword and board but I was told that if I ever wanted to kill anyone I needed to go two handed. Honestly I can't tell the difference. I die just as fast with one as the other. People do tend to move a little and not just outright ignore me with the two-hander but that seems to just be a psychological effect. I can't budge anyone's health bar.

I have two basic modes -

Single target – Sudden shift and then taunt, shatter enchantment if its up, Dazzling strike into Dragons talon to blunt their damage and build up. Quick incision to keep them close and Eagles flight to get a little defense. Ensorceling blow is my base attack and I run the tactic that makes it do damage over time.

AoE/Punt – Sudden shift right into Wrath of Hoeth (if I have the AP) to weaken their spirit resistance, Gusting winds (if I have the AP) to clear out all but the hard targets. Dragon's Talon to blunt their damage and quick incision to leave them behind. Eagles flight to give me a little pad of defense between the front line and my back line target. Shatter Enchantment if I need it and Ensorceling blow for fills.

I also run the toughness tactic.

Is that too many attacks? I'm not sure why I wouldn't use a 30 point attack and use a 30 point attack instead. (not a typo) I am stacking effects for the same cost as not stacking effects.

But the end quotient is every other class demolishing me without any effort at all. Healers and Rdps just ignore me because I can't do them any damage. Mdps swats me and other tanks usually ignore me unless there isn't anything more interesting in arms reach.

Is this just the way it is? Do I need different attack clusters? Is there anything that I can do outside of slaving a guard and pocket healer to my will? I attack from the back, try to scatter the healers, try to panic the casters. What can I do?

PS. - paying attention to it I can tell you that from engaging any enemy at all to death is six seconds. That's it. If they actually deign to hit me, six seconds of whatever they have later I am dead. That crazy life of a tank am i right?
