Most of the people saying BO/SM are fine, never actually played one to high RR. They just think the classes are fine because they got wrecked by them 1v1. Granted, 1v1 these classes are incredibly OP.

I don't even know why you think BG's need a buff they are fine the way they are, SM/BO I think ( this is just what I think about them) are dps tanks that do well assisting with there melee dps IB/BG's are a buff/debuff tanky tank spec that do well both S&B and 2hd.
And WL's.......fix pet and they are fine

Now lets talk about how OP BW's/Sorc's are!

Do any of these people posting lately actually understand what the optimal group compositions are, and why?

Anyone who can't answer that should not be posting oneliners about each class.

Because the greater DPS output of the SM/BO compared to other tanks does not equal or outweigh the greater DPS contribution from other tanks debuffs/buffs when you figure the extra DPS it gives your group as a whole.

The biggest DPS buff possible atm being 10% crit buffs when given to classes that have high critical damage multipliers. As far as tanks are concerned outgoing heal debuffs are also very valuable.

Another huge problem with BO/SM is lack of ST long range punt. The AoE punt is absolute dogshit and im going to explain why.

Guard is the strongest ability in the game bar none. And it literally only has one hard counter. And that is to punt the tank as far away as possible and dumpstering the person he was guarding as fast as possible before he can get back in 30ft range. When you use the AoE punt as SM/BO you are just giving out free immunity that screws everyone over. It's a terrible skill.

If you watch really good guilds/tanks play you will notice they are constantly trying to punt the tanks around to get a real chance to kill something, because that skill is so strong that it is literally impossible to kill something that is guarded unless you have the entire SC beating on them at once.

couldnt have said it better my self, bignusty and co. who have been posting so far dont understand what the REAL issue is
They just see "dmg numbers" and think that makes it all "ok and equal"

Azarael, can i ask a question as one of BO...
Does "Da Greenest"+"Loudmouth"tactic work in synergy just like parody on KOBTS abylity "On Your Guard" and if does -return damage to each attacker with 25% chance with procs from war bellow .
please do not change unique mechanic of "Da Greenest" compered to others bellows.
