I think it's asinine to assume that ALL Xrealmers flock to the side that's in easy mode. Some of us like a challenge and join the side that needs help. Couldn't care less about renown. I want a challenging fight. That's why I play RoR. I would hope that's why everyone plays RoR.
Suggestion: I know it probably would be a coding nightmare, but why not flag an account where someone Xrealms and deny any character they play from the other realm renown and PVP exp for an hour? Let them log on, craft, PVE (with exp), etc. Let them join SCs. Let them in the RVR lakes. But no EXP, no renown from SCs or lakes for that hour. By the time the hour is up chances are the zerg has switched back to the other side. Those who currently switch sides just to EXP/renown wh0re no longer would have incentive to do so.

That's actually the problem. While a few players like the challenge or just want to help the underdog faction, we have on the other side a massive amount of winning team joiners.bazinga wrote:I think it's asinine to assume that ALL Xrealmers flock to the side that's in easy mode. They seem to be only interested in grinding RvE the easiest way with the least effort/time consumption, while watching their favourite tv show.

The system only requires numbers to work. No coordination. This is the main problem. There are no rewards for the smaller opposition nor ways to slow down the zerg. Doorhammer what we have now, was bad on live. The reworked Waithammer was flawed as well.
