I had the same problem.
Is it so that the server is, on first hand not found, then suddenly the handshake is successful, yet you see an empty character creation screen?

If this is the case, check antivirus and firewall, it's a tcp/ip traffic issue. Personally I just had to allow the game outbound connections.

no sadly its not the case firewall is of. and i don't even have a character creation option. the button is non existing in my launch
