The thing is that Advice channel is the only channel we have for good communication atm.
At live we had Region chat which was specific to that map and it helped a lot.
I even had Advice turned off.

I try to help people when i see questions.

I see a few other guys that are the same way. But I have a full time job so I can do it 24/7 or be on both sides at once

Seen a few people get shot down pretty bluntly since I started about a week ago. Sort of puts you off asking anything.

It was so for five years.

It can be helpful though. Just a few days ago we had a player asking if we thought that naming his guild <offensive racist words combination I will not write here for fear of being banned> would be a problem. We kindly asked him if "renamed172" was to his liking, because that was going to be his guild's name coming morning in Europe, and he wisely chose a less controversial wording. Advice had done its job :-D

Currently Advice is the faction channel and this game doesn't have paid employees or customer service. Be calm and carry on. They have only so much time and so many people to fix everything we want.

I am guilty of using the advice channel as global chat channel... some good conversation about the game are had in there.. Yet i see that it can be filled up with that stuff rather than what was intended for...

Yet most of the time I see a question it is answered. Maybe with a site you can use to look up the answer which not universally liked because most want it then and now and wanted to alt tab to get the answer themselves... but they are answered.

I always seem to get an answer from advice, though I always play Order.

Advice channel was a ploy to make the game look friendlier way back in WAR so they could recruit more players and keep the game afloat. Waste of time and energy to implement it from the beginning really. I've always just turned it off in the past and starting to now more and more as they restore the other channels.

I will take SuperOmegaOP on as an apprentice and create a beast. Message in game to begin your lessons sir/ma'am.
Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)
