I honestly don't think that would work. Best example is the last couple of days when it was mostly around 51/49 and zones were dominated by one faction.

One faction will always leave the battlefield as long there is no real chance to get your precious reward ( atm soldier medallions ) and the easiest was is plain and simple by zone locks. Haven't played today but i guess player drop them as well. But even there is the chance bigger to get em with less effort if you join the bigger zerg instead of the smaller zerg.

If that kind of behavior wouldn't be the case plenty of mythics stuff would have worked way better than it has. There was a reason they implemented such strange mechanics like pity tick ( aka reward for locking a zone ) and AAO.

And in my opinion there isn't much sense in talking how people should behave.As sad as it is but people behave how they behave and the system has to be build around that. It's as easy as that. Therefore you have to build a system that encourage and reward them to get out their comfort zone by mechanics like mentioned above.

Aza, let's do universal medallions for tiers, so you can get them at ORvR lakes, or in scenario - that help's a lot, i think.

Easy solution:

If Destro is zerging, let Greenskins turn on them. WAAAGH!
If Order is zerging, let High Elves turn on them (they already dislike Dorfs anyway)

These "traitor" factions would get big +exp/inf/renown bonus for attacking the zerging faction.

yeah, i know this is impossible. But tbh i have NO CLUE how to reduce zerging in a server with free accounts. So i'm just tossing around random silly thoughts :P

And just so you know, no matter what system we get: one side will always zerg the other unless players themselves do something about it.

If something isnt done soon about this situation I can see its going to end up killing the game, which would be a real shame for all concerned as I think the dev's have done a brilliant job bringing back the game that we all love.

The current RVR system would work fine if we had two relatively even matched sides, but with the issue of most players crossrealming its making the new system look bad.

We really need to brainstorm together and come up with a solution that encourages an even balance and the fights we all love, whether that be some kind of AAO or even disabling logging into a faction if the realm percentages are to one sided. But for now maybe we should revert back to the open rvr zones to at least let smaller groups fight and cap keeps.

It took Destro, from Mandred's was attackable until the Keep Lord was dead, a total of 113 seconds to take the keep. That's 1 minutes and 53 seconds. And with a 1 : 2,5 (2.5 for Americans) ratio and almost all of Order completely demoralized, I don't see any point in even trying.

Also, how did you think it was a good idea to implement new gear, that's only farmable in ORvR, when the ORvR is at this state?
Even if you fix the ORvR, in a few days every single Destro player and their uncle is gonna have full Devastator, and Order not have a single piece.

This is so broken. You might just have shot yourself in the foot big time, devs. If this keeps up, you might scare every single Order player away from the server.

The current system supports nothing but zerging and xrealming. G f***ing G.

We can't do open zones anymore cause the population is too small for 3 zones at once

And right now more than ever is proof that players have no relm pride and will happily x relm
