Choppy graphics at char select screen

Is anyone else having this issue? Feels like it is moving at about 2 FPS. When I finally go to load the game, it stayas at the loading screen with the Warhammer symbol moving at about 2 FPS.

Running Windows 10, GTX 970, 8GB ram on an SSD drive.

What I have tried:
Compatibility mode for War.exe (win 7).
Uninstalling, re-installing to a different drive.
Messing with all of the graphics settings.

When I first installed it, it worked great one time. Now no matter what I do I get the choppyness. Sitting at the loading screen for 5 minutes now.

I know it might not be it, but it's worth reinstalling https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... px?id=8109 as I don't think you have the full package in Windows 10 - but that still doesn't make sense as to why it ran good the first time. I don't have Windows 10 and have never had this problem, but googling around led me to d3d9.dll files so might want to try.

Figured it out.

It was my AV (I run Sophos with on access scanning). I created an exception for the directory and it worked great.
