Dps Shaman , best set?

Is sov best for dps Shaman, or is warlord better? Going to spend all my little coins and dont want to mess upp.

Warlord (atm) but set rework might turn everything around

For solo play you want 3/3/3 sov, warlord, vic. You then want tough and TB renowns and run gunbad armour pot (with tough) and an 80 tough pot. 2 tough talis on subjugator weapon (yes subju, with 2 tough talis thats 98 tough). 2x annulus. 1 tough armour tali, all other armour talis int.

That'll get you to 9090 hp, 849 toughness, 1039 int, 29% crit.

With glass cannon setup Stink notes, you'll reach up to 50% crit and more mag power, but you'll go squish a lot. With the above setup, there are no fights you cannot win.

If you purely play in groups/WBs, ignore the above and feel free to go glass cannon.

I run 5 warlord / 4 victorious on my shaman.

Works well for me. I don't have anywhere near the toughness listed by induce, and my intelligence isn't as high either. I do have more strikethrough, magic power and crit. I use anathema weapon for a big hit of wounds.

I do think I'll try out Induce's build though! I have enough crests since the refund that I can get it pretty quick, tho dont think i have any genesis crests to re-buy subjugator. 850 toughness is really good!


My Shaman is called "Scabrous", you can check out on killboard to see exactly what i have. I spent a fair amount of time soloing with this build and it seems to work well. But if I can pickup a ton of toughness for not much cost, it may be worth it!

New to the game. Where do you find the warlord sets? I'm currently Renown 50 and all i see that i can wear in The Inevitable City is Dominator gear. I also see some people saying Vanq but thats healing gear? Seems like next step from the Dominator gear is Oppressor for DPS.

Warlord is endgame gear rr70+. You can find it in the citadel north of Inevitable city. At your rank, I suggest you to get PvE gear. It's pretty good for dps healer and it has no rr requirements

At RR 50 you should be able to wear Conq, and about to be able to wear Vanq set, if you are locked to only Dom gear, you need the wards to wear higher sets, if you open the Tome of Knowledge and select the black armory tab, it lists what you need to unlock for next armor set. You only need 1 item for each armor frag for it to count as unlocking the frag, it can be pve, or RvR sets, or Sc set.

You can get the pve sets Keeper set from Altdorf Sewers, or Sacrelum Dungeon there are 5 quests for it lvl 16 ish,
Next you can get Mayhem set it is lvl 25 ish if you are on Dest the Mud flats PQ in Tala near zone to Troll country is good very fast. or you can try the new T3 dung they added.
After that you can do Ruin gear, it is 35 to wear the loney tower PQ in CW can be soloed.
You can get the Beast lord set by doing the quests, as well as the Dung Harvest Vale, After that you can do Gunbad min rank 36 or so for Redeye set, which counts as Conq gear.

Then there is the city Dung, Crypts on Order, and BB on dest for sent armor which counts as Vanq gear, also Bastion Stairs which counts as Invader armor, and Lastly Lost Vale which I believe counts as Warlord, non of these sets has a RR req, but need to previous frag unlock,
