That's will kill server for sure, because pool of people who can organize and do this very limited and it will be just another org+leeches vs pug.
This game needs strong leaders on both side which will stay on their realm no matter what.
The old system didn’t crash the server. Now, practically no one plays the city stages anymore, so why would this be a problem?
The point is to give the campaign new meaning.
If the rewards were well thought out, I don’t see that as a risk.

If sign-ups worked according to the new matchmaking system, I see potential.

If individual city stages were played in a knockout format (the winner of the first stage plays the next stage against the winner of the first stage from another instance, etc.), most players would finish the city with a sense of having had a good and challenging time.
Predetermined City/Lotd times is what killed that content. City Sieges Should definetely not be on timer but also should be free for EVERYONE to enter, doesnt matter if you contributed to campaign or just logged in, if you are over lvl 16 then you are allowed in the City Siege/Defense (This should be applied to forts as well)

Change to City Siege like this and everyone wins if you disagree tell me why; If you are sieging side and you win your City Instance, then you would be able to do Eternal Citadel Instace/Bright Wizard College instance. These had 5 minibosses that all Drop Bis Wpns 66dps 1h 100dps 2h and they have procs AND are boe on top of that - No renown rank required, rank 40 required.

https://imgur.com/a/warhammer-online-it ... ck-NY9bkl7 - First 5 pictures are all City Siege Rewards(except the cloak is Defending Fort Purple bag)

If you Beat those bosses, Then there is KING left and obviously will drop Sovereign/Warlord pieces if beaten. City can be sieged every 72hrs so it wont be farmed.

I agree on the fixed times and that was the downfall of the popularity for those events. It was for sure much more fun to play at its core prior to the WS patch. Sure there were issues back then as well but the core or fun center of gravity was so good you could feel it when once logged in. It is still fun to play but feels hollow and watered down from what was before.

this may need another go around after this last patch as it continues to show the mismatch between dev vision and player happiness

in my most humble opinion simply there are no more developers able to script RVR. Unless someone with coding experience steps forward, I am afraid the situation won't change

The WS/Ini patch was definitely one of the best.
The biggest drop in player numbers occurred after the disastrous decision to block NB.
In two weeks, we lost 200–300 online players.

Agree and although i would like to remain hopeful I cant see it changing for the RVR better anytime soon. There have definitely been happier times having fun even with the issues we had back 7ish years ago before this string of updates began.

This was a disaster for the server. There is still time to bring it back for everyone, and I'm sure there are people who would return.

Most likely some would return I know the new server Dawn of Reckoning launched last weekend, while I haven`t joined it, I saw a lot of old names in the Disc channel for it.

Umm so am I getting this right?

There used to be an addon that pressed the buttons for you. They banned it and this was a disaster for server.

Is that so?

No.

It was a sequencer used in WAR that allowed you to load sequences with conditional logic.

But the decision of which sequence to use always rested with the player.

Above all, this addon allowed you to play various characters with ease—especially if you were a casual player (not to mention players with physical injuries who simply couldn't play without it).

But the more important thing, it was available to all players.

And yes, from that moment on, the server began losing players—losses that have never been recovered.
