Most people feel like the purpose of the game is to level up their characters and then move to the next one. This is clearly because the game lacks on this department. However, we must not forget that this fact actually helps the "lower T player cicle" so that players are constantly going through the leveling content and lower Tierrs are not deserted or pug wbs allowing lowie characters.

So, although I really miss the endgame progression, it is something that I think we should learn to ignore (although its natural, understandable and it pains me to say it) so that the game can endure.
Having an adequate endgame progression would not impact the lower tiers negatively as long as it isn't something extreme, i do not think anyone who reasonable in here is asking for the extreme on a small private server. Just something to keep the interest going and adapted to RoR's model.

In fact by improving the endgame, it would incentivize more players to stick, likely improving the activity in the lower tiers as well since players like to reroll in games they find meaningful to play ( specifically meaning Tier 1 rvr/sc and T3 sc).

Yes but they would stick progressing on their main characters rather than rolling on new ones right? That is my point.

Personally, I would love having something like additional rr points for levels past 80. I do not think they would become such a big advantage over a fresh 40 but still, the line has to be drawed somewhere.

This game hits a sweet spot between Dota-likes and MMO.

Just like the former, you mostly play sessions just because you like how it plays.

And from the later, there's the scale, the 3rd-person camera, the combat system with targets and high button count, the holy trinity, loadout variety. Okay pve (this one is important), multiple game modes (session games tend to have just one). Even the fact that you afk on the city square not in client dashboard. Player recognition (there's more than just a nickname). Some random things like showing a newbie how to do a PQ and how to find Festenplatz.

Don't thing there's something quite similar. Also, Warhammer is a nice setting ^^.
