[WE] Wet noodle?

I'm admittedly low level and RR (21/24), but I find myself hitting like a wet noodle. I thought I'd try my luck against a RP, opening with Enfeebling Strike so when he runs (healers run, right?) he'd take damage. Then Throat Slitter to silence him, then Envenomed Blade, Wracking Pains, Ruthless Assault.

But he never moves and when I'm done he's on 100% health.

What to do? Should I not bother with healers and try and find another target? Am I just too low level to be effective?

All suggestions and advice very welcome.

WE is good at killing healers since you have access to both ihd and ohd. However, killing any healer alone is not a easy task and in many cases not even possible for a solo dps, what you should do is assist other dps and hit targets together.

Thanks Stink. Appreciate you taking the time. If I can just distract the healer, maybe that's enough. Don't even feel like I'm doing that! We'll see how it goes.

I say do not bother.

Think only healers you ever going to kill are undergeared or underleveled ones. As an AM I got 1v1 killed by WE's all the time while levelling thru RVR. At the same time I played SC's vs sub 40 WE's - they were nothing like those (presumably high geared) WE's in lakes. Perfectly facetankable.

Also, I don't think it's worth running from just a single WE as a healer. They have slows and pounce anyway, and meanwhile you really want to do your static casts. Also, run to where exactly? To a tank? No point, they have other things to guard and you have strong detaunts as is. And a healer probably already likes its position and does not want to change it much.

You can also look up their gear on the killboard. If the healer is best in slot, and you're not , probably not much you can do. All dps are in that same boat.

Killing a good healer on your own is really hard since they detaunt you almost instant making you do 50% less damage to them.
