I dont know if that was a general question or if it was directed at me, but I can't answer that for you. Honsetly I don't know how to dodge other premades at all, except by stop queueing. But I actually rarely see that happen either. Most of the time, everyone just keeps queuing, and when you encounter again, only the ad group changes, which results in different matches. Works somehow.Florian90210 wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2026 4:38 pm Question is why premades dodge other premades and at same time they pretend they know game and that they are very skilled?

Prem in qq don’t dodge other prem.
They have slow sc pop becouse matchmaking trying find another prem.

Not many premades or even proper wbs these days, but in old system premades were actively dodging other premades by simply waiting a bit before queue, because strong premade got insta pop to feed on pugs.kleinbuchstabe wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2026 4:50 pm

Current SC system is now much better, but premades actively whine that it's their right to stomp pugs just because they formed group. So I want to say that premades should contact other guilds to form premades which can give challenge, instead of demanding pugs delivered to their plate and ruin fun for pug vs pug SCs.

Re: Frustrating SCs against premade groups
Due to your lack of knowledge and experience you confuse two completely different game modes - 6v6 and scenarios. What you encounter in regular scenarios are not premades but just groups, even if there are few with same guild tag. What you say in the beginning was a legit strategy before new MM (nowdays its not valid) for groups. Groups differ from premades because they may run whatever compositions, miss players in discord, coordination is lacking and even more (i joined myself few such groups so such do exist) there is no MA or people assist on a folk that cant speak. Thats how absolute majority plays in regular scenarios daily.Florian90210 wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2026 5:43 pmNot many premades or even proper wbs these days, but in old system premades were actively dodging other premades by simply waiting a bit before queue, because strong premade got insta pop to feed on pugs.kleinbuchstabe wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2026 4:50 pm

For such "groups" there is just no tool beside current MM to organise them into regular scenario (12v12, 18v18, 24v24). Thats plain impossible for them to "contact other guilds" to increase challenge. Such groups dont seek challenge, they just play SCs. They are no lesser then solos/pugs are interested into decent matches but they objectively fall into completely same caterogy of unorganised gameplay. Also its important to note that such "groups" often may lose to a complete solo pug before and nowdays its even easier for them to lose because then MM takes care balancing archetypes at least.
On contrary there is the different most skilled game mode, where each step, each GCD spent matters and can decide a fight. Thats 6v6. To form up a team able to somehow compete there each and every team member has to have experience, you need to prebuild specs, general composition has to be working one (so no double class tank/healer, synergy for dps specs and their burst rotations etc). Absolute majority of groups that play in regular scenarios are not ready to put efforts into 6v6. Just like you.
And i cant blame them honestly. Even if you assemble a group then starts a learning process. You think you know your class and are skilled veteran? Believe me, once you get a core established group and reach 90%+ winrate on your sessions in regular SCs then you will meet "final boss of the game" - more established "Premades". They will rip your face of with absolute easy. You all in your group will wonder what the heck just happened?! At this point all teams just disband. The very few go thru the struggle, very few build coordination and continue git gudding. Next step you reach your first win against real premade in 6v6 after ~50 losses in a row, then you reach 50% winrate and starting from here you can be considered a 6men "premade".
Evil had to lose around 30 matches in friendly sparrings vs. Advar before guys finally build their own scary true "premade". Thats the learning process everyone has to go thru to become good at the game. The only difference is player talent and some may require lesser amount of losses in a row. But in general thats the path everyone who did 6v6 and tried to form a premade went thru.
Nobody can blame those who didnt manage and choose casual approach. It does requires real commitment way beyond what most soloers already struggle with (aka put a msg in /5 dps lfg sc group). I also dont blame people who tried to dodge e.g. Teinhala full 6 in regular SCs and didnt contact them for 6v6 after losing a regular SC when you have 4 out of 6 in discord and half of your team members are drunk already. You wouldnt either if you ever tried to play the game organised on decent levels.
Now back to topic. Im literally giggling that we discuss this topic in 2026 when MM is already in place. Thats another prove that you have to completely ban a possibility to soloq into regular SCs before this game finally becomes mylittleponysoloadventures online... Seriously, SC is group play mode, MM is in place, fill from /5, learn to cooperate and SCs will become much better training ground for learning game and practicing. It will automatically and drastically increase quality of oRvR as well too.

Re: Frustrating SCs against premade groups
Who creates such stupid threads? This game is all about teamwork in a voice with friends or guildmates. Premades or organized warbands are the core idea of this game. PUGs are only a small part of this wonderful game, and if a PUG is stupid, it needs to be stomped on cooldown; otherwise, stupidity won't be eliminated.

I am sick and tired of seeing these posts, nocturnalguest wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2026 1:46 pm Oh, hello there my dear "pug vs premade" thread, long time no see, hahaha
No amount of dev efforts may make anything anyhow better in this case. Those of players who can't pass "learn to play" process wont stick anyways, thats harsh but fine. No need to suffer.
Second Bambi, framework devs do should motivate grouping up and reward teamplay more. Cant catter pugging, it does no good at all. Imagine OP would meet the game back then grouping up matter way more.
Instead of making tools that allow inexperienced newbies to live a dream its much better to just ban possibilities to solo q SCs at all. Fill the /5. More people will learn a thing or two, grasp combat mechanics and how to play and thus more chances they stick
"framework devs do should motivate grouping up and reward teamplay more" Why ? Like what is the reason ? Wouldnt it be more beneficial for the games survival to depend on what majority of players want and not what some people think it should be ? Many mmorpgs perished because of this mentality. If premade parties where more popular they wouldnt suffer long queue times, clearly majority of the players want to queue solo for a quick sc match or two, I have no horse in this race just make changes that are beneficial for the survival of the game not what some people personally want or enjoy playing...

Re: Frustrating SCs against premade groups
In a solo‑queue scenario a while back, each side had one tank (I was the Destro tank), three DPS (two Maras and a SH, if I recall), and two healers. Order had the same group composition on their side.
Despite us all being solo‑queuers, the Destro DPS set up a main assist, and everyone in the group assisted. I did all the expected tank things, and the healers did all the expected healer things. We utterly crushed Order, who were doing the usual headless‑chicken gameplay, and farmed them at our leisure. I would put a hefty bet that if those Order players were asked whether they were up against a premade, they would all agree they were.
The moral of this story? Just like in the old dedicated solo‑queue that used to get the same complaints about being infiltrated by “premades,” most “premades” are just players who know how to use basic coordination. The problem is that basic coordination is like black magic to most solo‑queuers, most of whom run around doing their own thing, heedless of anything going on around them. This can result in even a single pair of single‑target DPS assisting completely dominating a scenario. This will look like a “premade” to the other side — after all, how else could they possibly be hitting the same target and target‑swapping so fast?
It was easy to spot a premade under the old system, as they’d be the only party with a 2/2/2 setup. With the new matchmaking system, not only is being put against a premade much rarer, but it’s also much more difficult to spot. Don’t go crying about the premade boogeyman when it’s much more likely to be a duo, a trio, or just other solo‑queuers who know how to coordinate.
