Tomb of the Vulture Lord

I have yet to view a thread in regards to what is being implemented for ToVL. Please consider releasing the 5-piece jewelry set/ Odjira talisman pocket items (absorb, disrupt, parry). Also the realm that has successfully dominated the weekly campaign should have full access to the map, which would incentivize the opposing realm to conquer and divide the next scheduled event. So much pve so little time

- sincerely, iyami

The problem with this, and with the old LotD locking system, is that there are no realms anymore — only players.

If Order wins the resource race, locks LotD, and gains access to TotVL, Desto players simply log on to their Order toons to access it, and vice versa.

Just as with the RvR campaign, the lack of locked Realms makes any LotD locking system redundant.

Odjira on shaman was the most fun I and many others had in the game EVER! If they bring back kiting there will be a zillion posts from tanks and others who all have cc's. But want everyone stationary to have an easy farm.

@Bigun - not my intention to override your comments nor dismiss them ; you do raise valid concerns.Rebuttal is RoR's current lotd map in effect remains a ghost town and only active 2 hours weekly. AoR's ToVL was able to be raided by the opposing fraction while a session was in progress, despite which realm had control of lotd. This will spawn dedicated griefers that simply log in and out near the portal enterance if outdated methods carry over. I probaly would park 2 of my 8 bsis toons on both sides and find like minded individuals to join disc and kill a certain player not even their whole group lol not dying in the process just to meme. So it maybe redundant to incorporate a lockout but something to factor in.

x-realmers imo is a negative perception instead of acknowledging such player as a Warhammer enthusiast, realm pride is very much alive in this driven based community.
It's a treat to login in everyday; DMCA is real and this game can be shut down any given moment. No game ; no life. I digress though.

How will the resources system work? Does lotd weekend match cease to exist and lotd conform into a pve map entirely.

I incorporate a 6piece sovereign build and tovl set is thee missing component.

@storm release the kraken i say ! The Odjira talisman offers a higher percentage to proc a speed boost (cancels proc if abilities are used) in comparison to wasting renown points in the speed proc. RP/Zealot darkpromise weapons are of more value then sentinel proc. Healers lives matter! Allow it to stack with shamans run awayz tactic since that has a ten second cooldown

Odjira was always cancer. Doubly so on RoR as the devs have nerfed snares into the ground. For example, Slice Through on Kotbs, and Big Brawlin' on BO are complete trash now. No fool would ever run them. Run speed is incredibly important, one of the strongest "stats" in the game. Quick escape is a perfectly viable alternative available.

Odjira in the current iteration of the game would be horribly broken and OP.

@Fey - I have to disagree, I think healers benefit from this the most. The counter to cancel Odjira is simple.Champions challenge the gamer which is ten seconds and a three knockdown to stack. Survivability drastically decreases from that pressure in a group/wb setting. If the user doesn't respawn after that rotation clearly damage roles are slacking and 13s lockdown is plenty of time to focus a single gamer proc or no proc. All things considered before rejecting suggestions is all I ask.

You can use the edit button to edit a post as needed. :) Should be available for all users I think!

On the topic of TOVL...

No news yet on the Odjira or stats for items related to LOTD. One of the things we have confirmed is that the TOVL difficulty is planned to start on-par with some of the more difficult fights in Lost Vale, and to grow from there as players progress towards the end, so the challenge should be solid for those who enjoy it.

P.S.: We will most definitely be seeking testers when the time comes. This weekend we're testing out the new T3 Dungeons on PTS, which are about 80-90% complete mechanically. At least one of these uses a mechanic seen later in TOVL, so we've been building them as a bit of a staging ground for more complex things in the future!
