Black list to Marauder/WL?

Some colleagues were complaining that the Marauder was in a really bad state... I used to play one and thought it was great, so I decided to see for myself—and let's be honest... What did they do to the class? The mechanics are painfully slow to take effect, and it relies heavily on tactics and flawless rotations; a single parry or block completely shatters whatever little potential the class has left.

I haven't checked out the WL, but I imagine it's probably a similar story.

Any Ranged DPS or Mage DPS gets kill Marauder very easily. To survive a bit longer, you need to build more defensively, but the Marauder becomes useless once you start playing defensively.

I admit that back in the day, I thought the Marauder and WL had absurd AoE damage, but now... it seems the devs can't keep the glass half-full or half-empty—it either overflows to the point of absurdity, or there's no water left for us to drink.

TTK is lowered so it is even harder to survive for all classes.
You cannot survive without guard/heal as a mara.
Range have advantage. They can still hit from far and kite. Also they can st detaunt you from 100ft away and you cannot detaunt them because ur detaunt range only 25ft.
Mara still doing very well in a proper group.
If u are mostly solo, just reroll range and have fun.

Try other DPS classes as well.

It sounds like you're implying that Marauders have no defense, but all DPS classes are vulnerable to ranged attacks and will die quickly without guard and heal. However, Marauders can achieve incredible defense by switching to Monstrosity and using Ferocious Assault. Moreover, both of these skills are available by default. They also have a useful skill that stuns opponents when Disrupted.

WL lack these, and Choppa and Slayers, despite having the same armor value, have even less defense due to their mechanics, making them struggle even more.

Some of these loudmouths need to be shut up. They have nothing meaningful to contribute. Either you go into detail, try to help, or refute the argument. But nobody needs this arrogant “skill issue” or “l2p” stuff.

Wit the finicky nature of the server connection it's not like you will even benefit from the ignore armor 85% of the time you use it.
