Why is that problem? Shield heal cannot heal without hitting. He will do 400 group heal because of the dmg tactics.

It's a problem, because you could play tome/chalice build, but with a shield exchanging Divine Mend for extra defense.
Ask yourself whats gearing meta for heal WP/DoK and it's armor stacking for a reason since eternity.

how does block will help you, i dont understand your point. whats the relation between shield and soul regen? u can still survive pouncing wl as shield DOK/WP. shield heals doesnt have any issue with regen since they can attack and get soul while blocking.

The relation is to be salvation spec and instead of tome to use shield for extra defence
That imo could be tried with dual regen proc from lv and triumph sets

how much defence wi,ll shield give you? 8 block? so all argument is for 8 block?. we are talking smt different. I am saying all other mirrors can gain main tools from tactics and egg while wp/dok doesnt.
