Teritory map owned by guilds

Once or Twice a week have guilds fight eachtoher to own land on a map, make it an instanced SC custom battleground.

It would be awesome.

Sounds like a lot of coding to me and difficult perhaps to do but can you expand on how you imagine the territory system actually working?

For example, how guilds would claim land, how many territories there would be, whether ownership would provide rewards or bonuses, how the weekly battles would be organized (12v12, 24v24, etc.), and what would happen if a guild lost its territory for example.

Structured suggestions are actually a good source pool for future reference

Well if you want to know how I would maybe do it:


Structure:
1) Create a map of the warhammer world with different regions that can be fought over
2) Create a special currency that is just like expedition resources, people get it for rvr kills
3) Once a week, guild leaders can choose a territory to attack, and then the guild members turn in their resources for the attack. The guild that turns in the most resources wins and get's the battle.
4) The battles will take place over two back to back days, starting at the same time. Each battle will have a maximum time limit of 45 minutes
5) Once a guild take territory, they can only attack territory with a touching border
6) Each guild can have a maximum of 4 wars each week, 1 offensive and 3 defensive. Each land can only be attacked once a week by the winner of the bid of-course. If a guild owns 5 territory and 3 are attacked and they have an offensive war, they will have 2 wars each day and the 2nd one will be an hour after the 1st
7) For the 1st round when territory is unclaimed, it will just go to the highest bidder without a fight. After 6 months, the territory will reset and rewards will be sent based on the number of territory each guild controls

Battle:
1) Each side will have a large structure that will be their base, they must kill the enemies structure before the enemy team kills theirs
2) There will be 3 paths with 3 gates on each path. The enemy must breach these gates with rvr rams spawned at their base.
3) There are unlimited resapwns but each death gives 3 minutes battle fatigue
4) The bases are maybe 200 meters from the spawn zone, so they can not be defended unless people leave the safety of their spawn zone.
5) If no base is destroyed at the end of the timer, the defender wins.
6) This can easily be changed, but start it as a 24v24, where people can join in late, and if one side has more then the other, they just have more

This should be some epic and varied fights as they push at eachother with largescale combat, while leaving room for tactics, scouts, smallscale fights as maybe a 4 man tries to stop a solo ram, and counter play

Rewards:
1) At the end of a season, every 6 months, the map will be reset, and guild leaders will get gold based off of how much land they control. They can then use this money to pay their guildies or buy consumables for the guild
2) After each battle, the winning side gets a winners bag and the loosing side gets a looser's bag. They will have large amounts of warcrests that are account bound, so they can give them to their alts if they want. They will each contain a campaign badge.
3) People can spend their campaign badges for unique mounts, cosmetics, better pocket items(+2 AP /sec, 100 HP /sec region, 5% crit damage reduction, ect ect), unique titles, or use them to upgrade their fort weap to one with with ever so slightly increased stats.
