Hi all, looking to dust off my old Shammy and was looking at a DPS spec.
I used to run a hybrid build a few years back as that used to be the go to, is that still the case?
Can anyone point me to an up to date guide for a DPS Shammy? Doesn’t seem to be much info out there.
Much appreciated!

Re: Help for returning Shammy
This is my standard DPS build:
RoR.builders - Shaman
Seems to work out pretty well for me, though admittedly i havent been playing my shaman much of late. Spec gives me 4 DoTs, the puddle, plus decent self healing from FodG. I spec for a decent amount of crit, so burst of waaagh helps give me some pretty good burst damage. Get yourself up to 5 stacks and FodG is instant, which is awesome!
I have a 2nd tactic setup, which keeps Divine Fury and Mork is Watching, then adds Whazat Behind You and Waaagh! Frenzy. Auto-detaunt plus the extra healing is pretty good for lots of kiting or for helping out your group if they need extra heals. Had some fun times kiting large groups of players for long distances with this setup, but damage is definitely a lot lower the first setup.
I dont really know how middle tree works out any more. The few times I tried it, it felt too static to me.

+ Eye Quit Bleedin’ tactic is a very solid build if you build stacks with 2x hots + clns/shield and dots when possible

A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7
