In 2026, what is the fastest way to do 1-40 ?

No care about the renown, only exp.

Running SCs with a premade group I would guess. Preferably event SCs on weekends for higher frequency.

Sometimes I face loosing strike and gain near zero XP on a whole SC.

PvE side, is grinding mob the best or maybe some quests ?

Scroll 50% more exp from Lucky Gobbo roaming npc in Blighted Isle, Ekrund qnd Norsca on the road between ch1 and ch2. 6hrs duration, can stack scrolls, if buff active gobbo wont drop another. Each zone has 1 gobbo respawn is around 1h. After click body stays for about an hour. Red hat tiny gobbo, you can camp near body, que for sc. Also repetable scout bos quests in rvr wc gives nice exp/h. But ya always be qued for sc. Normal quests and public q, pve is a waste of time.

This is an amazing answer. I will check for this Lucky gobbo.

PvE is a waste of time ? Bashing mobs with +50% scrolls and +50% lucky gobbo buff can be a good XP source while waiting for SC pop I think.

What is the point of rushing to level to 40? You end up missing out on 90% of the game's content.

We all love to PVP/RVR, but there are thousands of quests and PQs across all the pairings, letting us have six characters that have completely unique progression paths.

I'd love to see more players slowing down and actually completing quests and PQs. Right now, many have to solo PQs until they get to the last Tier zones. And even then its mostly the same.

The biggest mistake WAR made was promoting the game as a PVP game. So much so that millions of players who heard about WAR thought it was only PVP and its why many never gave it a chance. The PVE is quite good and horribly underrated.

Hopefully we can get more players to slow down and actually enjoy the full game. What makes RVR so great is that you can adventure and do quests and dungeons, inbetween kicking player butt! Just like you can only feel good if you feel bad or only feel cool if youve felt hot. The good will come because there is bad to overcome.

Lets all try to do more content together. As much as I love RVR, if that is all I did, I would be missing out on 90% of the game's content.

Have you even tried leveling a character through PvE? It's horrid unless you have a reliable source of self healing because the out of combat regen is so low. In T1 even the easy PQs are too hard to complete alone once you get past Ch3. The gear that PvE rewards is (intentionally?) terrible, so much so that you need to go do some PvP just to not have all white gear around lvl 8-10.

Some people want to rush to 40 because at 40 you a) can start working toward endgame gear, b) can do lvl 40 dungeons which give you worthwhile rewards, c) you get all of your abilities and tactics, and d) NO ONE EXCLUDES YOU FROM WARBANDS. Unless you are a scenario enjoyer and you happen to play at times when mid-tier scenarios are happening often, there's no reason to not be 40.
