The new system is going the way of ranked. And I don't think it's because some random premade can't farm pugs for a few hours every night either. Who is going to wait 45-60mins for a sc to pop on the weekend?

The archetype requirement is breaking queue times. Did it suck to have no healer when the other side had 2-3? Sure. Did you lose some scs because you had no tank and the other had a strong one? Sure. But it surely beat waiting an hour to get a sc.

6dps v 6dps was never a problem before, but that seemingly cannot even pop now?

The addition of the counter for archetypes queued I think actually drives people away from queueing. People are not swapping to the "missing class" and queuing to get pops, they just dont queue at all. The bonus is irrelevant if you have to wait forever to get the sc anyways.

Weekend scs must be at an all time low rate since the update. Scs starting 4v4 or 5v5 (and slowly filling to 10v10 half way through) is miserable.

If you added a 'yolo queue' where it just popped 12v12 regardless of which class was queued it would almost instantly be the most played mode. People would only avoid it when a strong premade was farming on one side or the other.

been having no issues with this.
its working fine.
weekend sc are popping all over the place.
and sc are less of a crap show now.
i think you are on your own with this one^^^.

At least for me solo ques have been pretty good, and popping regularly. Weekend sc's its often prem vs prem + pugs

It’s working great, yes Q is longer in most cases but scs are just so much more balanced. The new matchmaking is 5ThumbsUp . Pre facing pre is gg , with 1p fillers on each side.
2 premaded vs pugs in old system was nothing but pure grief and bad game design.

6mans running over puggers is gone, rightfully so.

Anytime after EU prime is dead.

NA had 3 pops in T3 last night between 6pm and 12am EST? T4 had 11?

For reference you could do 20+ easily before in this same time window.

And just because the classes are balanced doesn't mean the gear/skill is so it doesn't really make a difference outside of less premade vs pug farming that would go on.

You could implement a system for, "low priority," vs, "high priority," queues.

High priority queues exist until the number of people queued drops below a certain threshold .Then low priority kicks in.

High priority enforces a strict 2/2/2 or some close variant. Low priority queue only checks for 1 healer, and 1 tank. I'm not sure the system is that dynamic.

sounds like you only play on the weekend warfront or during prime time. Anything outside of EU hours SC's fall off a cliff and if theres no weekend warfront its 1 sc per 1-2 hours as dps if your lucky.

I returned to the game this summer after long break and leveled 4 character to lvl 40 doing ONLY sc. Also I palyed alot on my t4 character, again mostly only sc. Then, I took a break.
Month ago I started playing again, and sc no longer on menu, only weekends, only eu prime, this is not posible to level new character doing sc anymore, and practicly imposible to get t4 pop from monday to friday.
Yet result of the most scenes pretty mush the same - 500-0, like it was before the changes. This is har to swallow, but balanced sc we asked for all these years is a BAD idea.

Frequent scenarios are critical to the game. Broken comps, perfect comps, and all the rest. The casuals need to be incentivized to log in for an hour to muck about. This includes narrowing the gap, aka, give me 4-5 crests just for queueing and completing the scen.

I play LoL ARAMs more than a healthy person should, and as crappy as a complete stomp is on either side it does make for zesty, interesting situations.

I've sworn to myself at least twice this year that I'll never play ARAMs again. Guess what? I'm a stupid liar, and I lie to myself.
