Stealth isn't the issue, giving stealth classes so many "outplay" tools to take advantage of less knowledgeable players. I think is the bigger issue with them.

Not stealth is the problem - being able to leave when ever WH/WE feel like it is whats frustrating me.

Another someone died from a WE/WH post.
There are so many ways to stop a WE from getting away. But if you don't know your class mechanics or how to spec your tool for stealthers, oh well.
Most people are set up for blob specs. Pump lots of trash damage in blob against other blob. It adds up to kill everything. They don't know how to use cc because everyone has immunities in the first 2 sec.

30 seconds is the appropriate maximum duration for being invisible.
That was the case on the live server and at the start of RoR.
I don’t see any reason for it to last longer.
Just as I don’t see any reason why a class that can become invisible should have a dash ability.
Although I think this will be removed as the biggest failure of the MDPS patch.

Here's the real crux: the class doesn't fit the vision of the game. Stealth by it's nature demands you either preposition and set up early, or have a delayed engagement. Neither of these really work in the front-to-back front loaded blob fights of today with low ttk and big splash damage. This is why the class doesn't really fit into warbands well. Reducing stealth uptime wouldn't actually fix anything; only hurt players. If anybody suggesting changes were serious people, you'd be asking for group stealth or group bypass instead of these obtuse gimps people clamor for. I think there was room in the mdps patch to turn it into an aoe debuff class for warbands similar to thief in GW2, but that's not what happened. On a similar note, build and playstyle variety is a good thing; you shouldn't want the game to be a warband aoe blobfest only.
The class was built to be a rogue analog. It was designed for solo/small scale. So let it be a rogue.

One might argue that your view of your class is a l2p issue, along with never playing solo. I do think its funny that someone that only hunts solo's and lowbies as a pack is commenting on blob play.
