Definitely not a fan of the big nerfs to weapons and shields.

What feels out of whack is the importance placed on procs. Whilst I agree that these should be included when balancing stats, they've been weighted so heavily thats its making a lot of weapons seem terrible now. This seems especially true for 1h weapons and shields, as they each have their own proc and so it's like you're getting nerfed twice.

Personally, I'd prefer procs to just be ignored when balancing the rest of the stats, and then just balance the procs against each other.


finally, when Chaos Wastes flipped tonight, I didn't get any renown from it and nothing appeared in chat logs about usual bag rolling etc. Instead, I immediately got crests in the mail (instead of handed straight to me) and I got a bag mailed to me 3mins later. So, I still got rewards, just not the renown.

Obliviously will need to wait till all gear has been re-balanced to fully judge if this works but you are REALLY overvaluing weapon procs, the fort weapon now has 8wounds? because of a %5 chance proc that does less that 400dmg? but the speed procs on weapons don't hardly count for anything nor does the extra %5 dmg bonus from bloodlord? wild man.

The bloodlord effect is not cheap it's classified as a tier A "proc" and costs 40 stat points. It might seem "cheap" on two hander cause you only have to pay it once, but 1 handers ofc can have their second weapon/shield have some other proc or those 40 extra stat points.

As for stat point suggestions overall, proc tiers could probably be 5/15/30 or the very least useless procs that make fortress equipment worse than madcap shouldn't exist. Like you can argue that spike VII on tank might be tier B instead of tier C proc, but it ain't on a healer that's for sure...
D&D costing 9 is meme should be like 4-5 maybe 6 at the very max, unless there is a renown mastery rework coming(no announcement of that...) as just 4 RR points gets you a whopping 63 stat points worth now so any equipment with D&D feels like wasted points, parry/block cost could also go down a point, ap regen maybe down 1 as well.
Crit/anti-crit costing the same is weird, again asking if there some renown point change coming to nerf futile strikes as well? Either make anti-crit cost 2 less or a better way would be that all equipment gets 4/6 more points total and crit costs 2/3 more so max crit gear is unchanged, but others are buffed.
And idk why power is same value as a real stat, yea it doesn't have to be cheap as it was in the past, but like 0.9 or 0.8 cost vs 1 of a real stat point seems fair.

Several 2H weapons ( especially for tanks) were completely wrecked, like the reactiony Def proc went down to 5% :lol: . These weapons are now more or less useless.

While I agree with this the sent weapons costs you nothing but time spent in BB/Crypts. All I´m sorry for is 1600 crests I spent for my fort 1h+1h, 1h+shield or 2h on my chars.

Btw is balanced team changed AGAIN? As far as I know the previous one wanted to go away from PROC meta as far as possible. Now we nerfing weapon stats and increasing proc damage. It doesnt make sence to me.

It all feels weird. Items not fixed to fit one particular place and purpose. For example BG fort shield have str on it. Its just basically stat reduction nerf, change for the change of working system. I dont understand it now, maybe i will when they end with changes. Personally i would be more interested if they used that time on dif purposes.

The wierd thing is that there is no evaluation or changes on the procs effects at all. We still got wierd dmg return on being hit for healers which is useless but cut quite alot of stats and we end with subj gear getting less core stats than besieger gear cos of useless low % proc.

Btw is besieger gear with unique appearance, i didnt saw such icon as zealot offhand

Now gearing process for healer's weapons choices become you buy some basic tier 3, early t4 weapons and change them when everything is bis cos the crests cost return for 6-7 stats increase is not worth it. I hope gear progression wont feel like that after thr planned changes

Sure Sent weapons are easily acquired for most players, that doesn't mean they need to suck ( and didn't prior to this nerf).

The only weapon worth having on 2H tanks is imho now in LV, which is kinda sad considering 1) most do not play on this server for the pve and 2) the highest PvP weapon available( fort) sucks compared to it.
