Why are we arguing about premade vs pug? Battle for Praag is just an annoying map that always snowballs in favor of whoever wins the initial mid clash, it would happen regardless of if a premade or a pug is winning

Have to disagree there. I played a bunch of games yesterday and each one was a back-and-forth contest.

The scenario queue rework has been the best change they've made for the server. Fights are so much better now than before.

Tried to find it based on the description but no luck.

We have pushed a fix today which should address some of the issues people have encountered when queueing as a group.

IDK man. I agree with you on the queue front but Battle for Praag is just not enjoyable. Half the capture points don't even matter, and the ledge encourages some bizarre and unfun play habits that tend to make the losing team lose more.

Scenarios have rarely been back and forth for me but there's only so much a matchmaker can do when 3/4 of the tanks aren't clocking above 8k protection. The comps are relatively balanced, premades only match rarely into pugs as a last resort, and that's all that can be asked for.

My feedback on the event:

The event was very, very, very fun. Here is a breakdown of the points I liked the most:
  1. Kislev inspiration. Everything related to Kislev is cool, and this event felt very thematic and showed a lot of knowledge of the lore behind this beautiful faction in the game.
  2. Hidden quests. I found the quest to obtain the cloak very fun to do, and the cloak is beautiful. I only hope that in some future event you release a winged lancer helmet for the Empire (and some wings too, while you’re at it...). :mrgreen:
  3. The Praag PQ. During these 10 days of the event, the best RvR fights happened in the PQ. The tension of seeing who would win, the reinforcements from both sides rushing into battle... it was a breath of fresh air, and honestly it would be great if these kinds of PQs were always present in RvR. In fact, I made a proposal about it in the RvR ideas thread:

  4. The new Kislev-themed trophies add a nice touch of character customization.
  5. As for the Kislevite drinks, great as always. The only thing I missed was the “Widow’s Promise” (no one expects a WP to have auto-rez, hehe).
  6. The event quests involving using the horn to awaken the bears seemed sublime to me. I would just mention that some areas of Praag, such as the North Breach, were not properly located, and although the minimap showed that you were in the zone, when you used the horn it did not count, so you had to keep looking for the correct area.
  7. As a negative point, the event ended a couple of hours earlier than expected, and my wife and I were left with things unfinished because we could not log in on Monday morning :( So sadly, she missed out on the 4-month bear mount she had been so excited about.

So thank you very much to all the team for this awesome event :)

Have you guys taken a look at what is going on in NA after say 8pm central time? Getting a que to pop even sometimes during the weekend is nearly impossible across all tiers.

I que as tank in t2-3, dps in t1 and healer/dps in t4 and across all they die out at the same time with t4 having a bit more longevity. All either solo or duo.

Is it really just not enoigh people queing or is there something still being worked on that might help?

Scenarios are at least from what I can tell far and away the fastest method to level, NA having their ques die has a bad affect on new players or people trying to level and creates a situation where things spiral and population craters because of that. Scenarios are also the only place that level 16-39 players can sort of play in an enviroment on even grounds and for new players learn their class well.

Would it be possible to have the MM become less stringent with lower pop or some kind of game wide buff to xp/rr for lower pop times so rvr in t1 doesnt collapse or people at least find it lucrative enough on off hours to set up small groups to do pqs for decent xp?

NA defenitely needs some help.
