I don't see how this will break up the blob. What I do see is the blob migrating from BO to BO to turn in the resources much like it currently migrates from BO to BO to pick up the renown bonuses now.

imagine blobbing is forbidden. joe logs into game, hes been playing casually for 3 weeks after work and has a 40/44 dps character.

he quenes for a sc, wins one (it was a 500:0 stomp). loses next four. he hasnt made any friends and doesnt like joining voice channels on discord. hes not that good at the game either. joe strikes out in the lake, manages to leech few kills from a roaming group then eats **** for the next 30 minutes dying to sov roamers within seconds of being spotted. joe logs out.

Without any sarcasm, its sounds very fair and relaxing. Not expecting anything more from pc games!

But how it work with keep sieges? Attackers comes in number, have strong debuff, and defender have better position and debuff working for them
Who will roam if attackers must go under keep and take debuff and defenders just need to wait??

Keep area could be excluded from this, or locking zone thru 5 stars made easier.

Thats the whole point. Not to break the blob but to encourage it to leave the stale old 'warcamp to warcamp zerg' and instead use more of the map.

Warhammer should always be about kills. You know "WAR NEVER ENDS", not about "Youre supposed to go there and there and do this or you will get no rewards". That is nonsense and strongly against core spirit of this unique game.

Why people (players) blob?
Because it is a human natural reaction - with bigger numbers you are stronger so you have better chance to win fights and to get better rewards.
And no bans will change this basic human behavior.

There are not a single warband out there which will never ever "blob", in the sentence of "cooperate with other warbands", in attempt to defeat strong enemy, when things goes ugly. 1 full sov WB has usually minimum chance in direct fight against 3 WB of PUGs. And that sounds just OK to me.

So instead of prohibition lets give some more bonuses to Battle Objectives, AOO side, hell even the whole faction (temporary), if its necessary.

Some sweet ideas are already there and you can add more:

Ah okay, then i misunderstood.
Then it´s only to let the blob moving around in the zone instead of sitting on only one BO and not about the blob itself? My bad. All fine.
Just look at the zones, except the blob it´s empty. U only need one BO.

Fair enough. If we are just trying to move the blob around then one thing I know moves the blob is the Relic run mechanic.

And another thing that moves the blob is the old flag cap mechanic where it would lock for a given time period if managed to hold it. While it had some problems, maybe time to revisit that as well.

Agreed. BO should have a lock timer that is dependen on AAO. The underdog should lock BO for longer than the zerging realm.

This would also make the BO taking much less frustrating for organized warbands and roaming parties, because it means that a BO can not instantly be retaken by some solo straggler accidentally passing by.
