What about Marauders, WLs and Maguses? Some of them run regen stuff (Grimshimmer+Fleshrenders).
Regen mara / wl doesn't really do dmg. Magus does but its again non physical dmg dealer
I never said they do real damage, I've said it will be easier for WH/WE to pick targets with their own glass cannon builds if those tanky builds of other classes won't be around anymore (if regen gets removed/nerfed).
True mb I misunderstood, but then again. Personally I dont see an issue with full dmg assassin type of class being able to kill squishy targets fast.. kinda the point of that type of class imo.

Well, thats quite risky, as it equals nerfing X builds vs WH/WE, which means those players may just reroll WH/WE = more annoying stealthers ;)

Ill finish by saying Chosen are 'One Button Heroes'

Thank you
Which button is that?

I use 29 abilities (21 unique keys and 4 sequences of 2 buttons each). Don't blame Chosen because you lost solo, blame whoever took Grumble&Mutter.

so its a 2 button build. great XDDD
i dont see 21 unique keys but lots of auras and potion buttons :D
I know you're joking somewhat but I'll explain this since I get asked about my UI here and there.

Players basically have access to 32 abilities total at level 70 (core + mastery). 5 or so of those are PVE, so the result is roughly 23-28 of useful abilities. I don't use 2 certain abilities because they are a waste of GCDs (all classes have these in some regard).

The left side of my UI is for Keyboard only abilities. The right side is Mouse or Mouse + Keyboard abilities. The layouts are exactly how the keyboard and mouse are laid out. I don't click anything except Ram Buff, Banner, Flee and Auras. The other key to this type of layout is I can learn/memorize the timings on the left abilities and only have to visually look at the right for activation (morale and health pots). As someone noted, and the reason modern MMOs significantly reduce buttons is you visually see 6 things. I styled my layout like New World in that way.

Keyboard only. My left hand can reach these --
1. Rending Blade
2. Suppression + Tooth Of Tzeentch (with a reset)
3. Rending Blade
4. Bane Shield + Withering Blow (with a reset)
5. Touch of Palsy + Ravage (with a reset)
6. Quake
7. Sever Blessing

Q. Blast Wave
W. Challenge
E. [Movement]
R. Petrify
T. Throwing Axe
Y. Cleave

A. [Movement]
S. Hold the Line
D. [Movement]
F. [Movement]
G. Guard

F1. Absorb Pot
H. Heal Over Time Pot
F3. Heal Pot
F4. PVP Heal Pot
F5: Mount

Mouse (I use a mouse with 3 side buttons since I play shooters as well)
Mouse 5: Juggernaut
Middle 3 (Middle): Taunt
Mouse 4: Repel
Mouse 6: (Shift)

Mouse 6 (Shift) + 1: Morale 1
Mouse 6 (Shift) + 2: Morale 2
Mouse 6 (Shift) + 3: Morale 3
Mouse 6 (Shift) + 4: Morale 4

This doesn't include Tab for targets, target self, jump, etc.

= 28 unique ability buttons (not including movement). Stop picking on Chosen because your mechanic is poorly designed =p

Guild Wars 2 did a great job on refining the MMO UI and new games even more so.

I think they just meant that chosen is ezmode compared to other tanks or classes. Not necessary 1 button.

There's been a huge trend about people losing 1v1 and getting mad (for like 7 years). There's nothing new here in this post. A lot of the solo specs are a response to the annoying zerging that goes on. People won't let you be if they see a solo player, not that they have. Nor does anyone have to fight to the death as they can always flee and triple pot like true Chad. Only fight fights that you know you can win, since all forum posters want that, apparently.

Also, solo def spec Chosen dies to AM easily. Healers being as deadly as dps and still healing, fine. Non healers wearing gear that gives them a tiny passive heal, crime against humanity.

Now, on to the logic of the post. If "regen" needs a rework, because it's stronger on some classes than on others what are you complaining about? The classes, not the gear, right? Get this, regen gear allows solo players to farm mats in PVE, or drops during events that have little to no core survivability. Are you going to deny them that because your big mad about losing a 1v1? The "gear" in question is available to everyone and was already nerfed due to quality posts like this one. Regen is already built into many armor sets, abilities, and in the renown tree. Change your build, not everyone else's.
