Doomed to fail (again) ? My experience in one week of playing

Sorry to say but with such attitude maybe this is better decision to leave after week than spend couple of months feeling like punch bag for veterans while learning the ropes. This game is not for everyone, just a classic example of old school mmo where new player is being dropped clueless to world full of long time vets.
Communication is they key. Asking, making friends, joining the guild will make your life much easier. Modern mmo games are offering option to play solo, here without your initiative focused on social interaction you will really struggle.

- Toxic community at least on the order players, tried to make a public quest for 4 times in a row, needed to kill a boss, every single time when I was on the last part some guys high lvl will come to finish it off, that would be ok of they group people, it's a game to play in group but it seems many high lvl dont care about it. It was frustrating like hell.

Just ask for group invite or invite urself, usually people aware of this and accept.

- Interface, like quests, like people to go, information is scarce it's easy to get a bit lost, like when they say go visit someone, and just that, you have no idea where to find the npc sometimes.

You say you played other MMOs but for some reason struggle with such simple things? Did you tried to read description? Look at zone column in quest tracker? Look at map? ask in /advice ? Maybe it's one of the "riddle" quests?

- The game is PVP oriented and that's ok but even in that, PVP areas are acessible to all lvl's, so a mix of people want to lvl up vs people high level end game gear etc.

Just group up in pug wb, form blob and kill all those scary veterans. Then watch them cry in discord. Simple.

- Graphics, it should have been improved a little so far, bugs like hell, like the first cd copy.

Graphics are nice for such old game, art style is perfect.

But community was what make me go away from it.

Perhaps someday if it's stays on and more people play and if the gameplay is also improved, maybe I will return, until there naaaa....

What is a good community? You expect everybody to hold your hand until you hit 80 lvl or?
