Terrifying foe isn't tied to any pve tactic hateful strike is just the basic starting attack so it had that monster threat thing like all basic attacks do


Yeah ib has better overall abilities b/c grudge builds slower than hate but since hate builds so fast Bg can get off high levels of debuffs/single target buffs that boost his damage a lot furthermore ib has nowhere near as strong antimagic which at its core is what Bg is, a caster killer/harraser

No Bg worth anything will go lolzmdps and give up thier kd/survive

I am also against 100% mirroring,because war classes are unique, but in this case IBs 2h tree is
excelent and supperior to BGs 2h tree which is mostly trash.

Also IB in general has supperior offence,dps and buffs for him self and oathfriend, while BG is more defensive,has lesser dmg outpoot and significaly less buffs for friendlies under dark protector.
More adjusting for BG skills would be more than welcome in this case.

I checked BGs skills. He has one interrupt skill which also reduce AP pool up to 30 AP at 100 hate. He has also skill which icrease ap cost of skills by 20AP for 10sec. And skill which decrease int and wilpower by 25(at lvl 40) for 20 seconds stackable up to 3 times. Its nice but IB has cooldown imcreaser by 5 seconds which is more usable than all BGs "antihealers" combined together.

On live I expirienced hard time to find party for PvE instances. I was told that kotbs and SM are far better than IBs. The same happend to find rvr 1 tank parties. 2 tank premades was OK especialy with mele dpsers.
Still I have enjoyed IB far better than Kotbs or SM. Few months before game shut down, I was amazed by planned SM/BO buffs, which made me to roll SM from scratch. Sad that I didnt make it farer than early T3 to enjoy its true potential.

I experienced the same thing, only time my IB that I was needed was off-tank for either SM o kotbs...

Rather see a fix for sm/bo worst tanks in the game based on group utility bg and ib have their spots in groups bgs played right are stupidly tanky and have the monstrous punt that kotbs has to slot and ib doesnt get

You do realize that skills scale right? It's not 25 int at lvl 40 lol also it's 2 interupts when you count taunt

Espically considering how many points bgs usually put into thier anti magic tree


Furthermore you have no synergistic tactics on ib like inc disrupt chance with hate and + move spped and ap on disrupt nor wounds debuff ( highest wounds debuff atleast on destro I belive) + aa speed boost on crit

Furthermore bgs can get rediciously tanks with their bolstering anger, -20% crit chance ability and armor boost and 45% reduced crit ability as well being the only class late game that can almost reach max magic immunity

Ib cd inc ability needs a tactic slot, Bg needs none for its anti magic bar soul killer

all destro 6 mans usuall run choppas who have tired already which is better as it needs no requirement and can't be countred by resolute defense or other sources of immunity

If shitty pots like ap regen inc pots are rebalanced then abilites that inc ap cost late game can be useful

I wish I didn't need rising anger to help with grudge building but i guess given the amount of BG attacks that cost hate the balance is there.

If You run in party and guard main dps especialy melee one,You should not have any problem to build up grudge. Even with soloing of party all You have to do is throw oathfriend on any frontline tank or mdps and Your grudge will build up sky high fast.

I still think,that BG could get some tweaking(after SM,BO ofcourse) and make it some Bg's selfish self buffs move also to dark protector friendlies. Its ok,that bg will never get 2knockdowns,2 knockback and as strong dps outpot as IB has, but more buffs for dark protector friendly will be more than welcome (like absorb bubble -core ability,Force of fury - armor buff or Elite training - parry buff)
