Whether a class is good at solo-roaming or not should be completely irrelevant to class balance. Classes should be (and are, as far as I know) balanced around 6-man and warband play. It feels like every thread recently about balance, RvR, and scenarios is based around solo play.

I get it, I love solo-roaming as well, and it'd be nice not to get wrecked all the time by certain classes and feel like I have a chance against every class, but balance changes should be made with how a class interacts with a group, not how they perform in a 1v1. Whether a class is effective in solo-roam is a byproduct of its team role, and some are just going to be flat better at that than others. Dps AM and Sham are naturally awesome at solo-roam as a ranged, magic damage, healer class, have all the best elements of what is required for a great solo-roam class, not because they've been purposely designed for it.

Playing solo is irrelevant because the game is actually balanced around 5000vs5000. The idea of not having 5000 people with me makes me violently shake and piss myself. I can't even imagine playing on my own, I'm sweating and getting light headed just thinking about it.

And we solo players never care about what others think or cares about us. We do what we do because it's fun, challenging, not because it's easy or wanting permission or even acceptance from others. The beauty of playing solo as many of us do is we can easily ignore the haters and love doing what we do and keep doing it.

Actually it's the other way around. Everyone kept complaining about solo players... it's those classes that got nerfed, So non skilled players can blob.

Reality is, it was blobbers who constantly whined about solo players killing them. Forums are full of examples.

EXCEPT almost no solo player is complaining at all besides certain engagements. EvERYONE else complains about blobs, Rampage , pulls , GCD, Morale bombs ,24 hit cap, PVD, WC camping, fake rams, stalled zones, fort wins / losses , city pop, open warbands , auto band addon, yada yada yada. On top of the complaints towards "streamers" because if no delays those precious WB's can then be spied upon.. And sorry for taking OP out of original topic.

good example of solo player mindset above. one absurd, and one with "i still solo" in signature, who ive seen more than once running with an ib. yeah i know, you gonna reply "i solo" not "exclusively solo" lmao
