Should i start over?

Yes, maybe I am little slow....

Hi, Im playing RoR for few weeks and I have IB on lvl 22, but I didnt realize that RoR is more PvP focused game then PvE. I did all my progress on quests (it is quite fun) but I player only few PvP matchs and right now I am little slow and confused in PVP.
My question is:
Should I jump into PVP with my character? Or should I make a new one and start PvP form lvl 1?

Thx for answers.

If you are enjoying IB, then you don't need to start over. You will catch up on your renown rank and you will be fine.

But PvP tanking is not the same as PvE tanking so it may (or may not) be the character you want to go into fights with in the long run. Only way to find that out is to give it a try.

I wouldn't worry about starting over. As long as your gear is in a reasonable state, you'll be OK.

I don't know much about IB, but as any tank, if you remember to stick guard on someone - usually melee dps, but switch to whoever is taking damage - and stick within 30ft of your guarded target, then you'll be doing a good job. The rest of it you can work out along the way.

However, if you want to restart, it really wont take you long to get back to level 22. Tier 1 scenarios and rvr can be quite fun, and are quite different to mid-tier and tier 4.

If you enjoy the PvE there's 100s of hours of it.
quests, epic quests lines, PQs and CH22 warband PQs, lair bosses, 5 dungeons (with 3 more on the way?).

They also give very good gear, so you can dabble in PvP without being too far behind.

You can gear all the way up to the final ward without even touching pvp. Blasting dungeons at 40 is usually the recommended way to do it to save crests actually.

Yep, agree with all the other posts here - you're totally fine and there's no need to restart. Your Renown Rank will catch up (and probably pass) your character rank very quickly.

Once you hit 40, doing Dungeons to save on War Crests is currently the ideal way to progress. The mechanics in these Dungeons is a bit more intense (and we're soon going to see lots more with the upcoming Lost Vale Dungeon) but if you've done PvE / Raids in other games, I think it's all really simple and fairly easy to learn.
