Hopefully DPS class change in the next year gonna change the meta because right now there no point rolling any melee class other than WL
Squig / shaman /magus / dps zeolot (70% of small scale is just those classes) pretty much all those destro class roll on order But if you got a White lion it counter everything. Goodluck getting perma snare snare and disarm it's just not fun at all. Same for WE I would just boost their DPS but less tanky. Right now i see sometime 1v3 WE. They cant even kill the godamn thing 550 absorb on crit with full trivial blow with regen it's just dumb. I preffer to die in 6 seconds than fighting for 2minutes soo they end up self punting and going away. The only thing you need on ORDER right now is High elf classes and 1 knight that is it. Dont bother with any other class like BW, Engi etc

On destro if you fight a WL you are F/$k With the range meta it beat all but not the WL.
Hopefully they spread class identity take make some class actualy fun and good other than just everyone rolling the only class that are decent. DPS need to do more dps overall and less defensive option right now it's alwas better to go more defensive no matter what for any melee dps. Like marauder's should nuke people with Impale you get what am getting at?

WL is largely the same as it was on live EXCEPT for the pet which in itself is problematic due to things like AI, usefulness, micromanagement and all CC tied into it. Unlike the disposable pets of the SH this is supposed to be a permanent companion and given AOE spam damage making it survivable and useful is a tricky combination.

However the pet is clearly overtuned.

Loner spec WL (+25% player damage) pumps out damage appropriate for MDPs, hits hard, solid damage, no CC, no micromanaging (though I would suggest loner removing the CD on pounce myself to give it mobility so it has something) This should be the baseline for the WL class damage imo.

However with the pet out (based in my case), in trained to kill the pet has crazy high defenses which exceed that of a conq geared player, inherits nearly 500str, 200 WS and 27% crit rate which gives the combination of player+pet 15% more damage than loner spec WITHOUT the critical hit damage increase tactic while pet is active (Pack Synergy). With the Pack Synergy tactic slotted (its pretty obligatory) the damage rises to 30% over Loner spec so its basically a whole MDPS + 30% with the pet out.

Personally I would suggest cutting the pet damage in half and remove the CD on resummoning the pet, this would bring pet build to around Loner levels of damage but with the added benefit of CC. Thats just me though.

In my non scientific yet easily replicatable testing its overtuned off the pet, anyone rolling a WL to be king of the heap better get their jollies in now because it wont last, every dog has its day and the WL was sub optimal on live though still competitive.

with most of the dps class when you see a solo guy you think twice before engaging him checking his class or the best way to get advantages in the fight... but we regularly see white lion engaging two or three peoples without even thinking about it or taking a sec to analyse the situation clearly...that says a lot about the state of the class right now when 3v1 seems like reasonable fights to pick

WL are super overpowered.
Unfortunatelly I have a natural negative to play Order, but if I don't bother about what side to play, I would 100% chose to play WL, without any options.

1. Super DPS
2. Super tanky (easy to focuse and kill tanks, than WL)
3. Tons of untility, like all other classes in one.
4. It is shame to watch how Maras try to pull targets, while WL Pets are pulling you from any distance unders any conditions and you just simply can't do anything to prevent pet's pull.

It is only "Hide/Incogniuto" skill that WL are missing.

I completely agree — White Lion is currently in a very unbalanced state. You can practically roll your face across the keyboard and still manage to defeat your opponent. The classes mentioned have become less enjoyable to play due to how heavily advantaged they are. A DPS rework is urgently needed so we can finally see something other than High Elves on every street corner.

20-65ft strictly as Marauder and even WL's pull can now be parried or blocked

WL are super overpowered.

Still, but not like it was a few years ago. (Anyone who played WL in 2020-21 will understand, after there were several nerfs)

Good tanks are stronger than most of WLs but WL may kite them and to do such a tank you need max regen and a lot of weapon skills and even then not always, if in premade vs premade 1 WL can't kill a tank under healing.

Knock down ability and pull? Maybe also silence but not always enough mastery points to get it.

For me personally, WL is a strong class, but already not overpowerful. But if you play on rSH, then yes, but on the other hand geared rSH can now even deal a lot of damage to tanks, sometimes even too much close to Sorcerer.

They dont need nerf (wl) it's all the other dps that need buff. Since global cooldown change it nerf any kind of dmg since pet is extra dmg it makes alot of differance. They wont do it but bringing back old global cooldow would fix pretty much all the melee dps. If not you gota boost all their raw dps.
