The default UI of the game is outdated, it does not provide players with adequate information in relation to what is happening to them and around them, perhaps the most striking example is the difficulty of knowing if a target is stun/root immune.
Solution:
Integrate Buffhead and Enemy into the core game, like what has been done with SoR. Create a panel, in design similiar to that of the ranked leaderboard panel. Such a panel would have links to useful videos about Enemy; like https://youtu.be/fp6HdV-V2TY?si=GAbqgAb04HmgWwQ3 and https://youtu.be/KYKvPDYVf5Y?si=rFKbEzQAj4MSLaEr
Buffhead would be integrated with the following tracking list : viewtopic.php?t=17466
Said panel would also provide useful information about certain abilities; like descriptions of:
-Detaunts
-Morales
-Guard
-Challenges
-other abilities deemed significant enough

The game should definitely come installed with a pre-installed modpack to modernize the UI. Great idea.

Imo pure should also be integrated addon. Basic health frames are awful

The question is: where do you stop? Theres dozens of useful addons, and not everyone likes the esthetic of things like the pure health bars. Back in the days we decided against adding addons to the download folder, because it might overwhelm new players. I'm more of a fan of adding them to the game files but disabling them by default (if that's possible). Could add a quest that guides people through using addons, but it requires work.
Tldr; I'm not against it, but these addons should be disabled by default and new players got to be guided on how to use them via some sort of ingame tutorial/ quest.

These addons will have basic set ups so new guys dont need to change anything from the start. I dont see how that is overwhelming. And the basic package imo should consist
Enemy
Buffhead
Pure
Tether
That is bare minimum and all long time players use these or their alther natives.
I literally cant see how you could play any support class on decent lvl without these, so adding these addons more new ppl will choose healers and tanks

As a player watching lot of new players on twitch, i support this suggestion, plus having a layer showing visually most imporant commands.

Some addons should be mandatory for new players to improve the general atmosphere of the server. If anything the recent Rune of Battle Drama is example of just how much RoR needs better on-boarding and community management to introduce all mechanics to players.
