New player, few questions (class, Pure, crafting)

New player looking to play somewhat casually, just have a few questions:

1. I’ve played around a little bit (career rank 6ish) but I can’t decide on a class. What’s a decent class to learn the basics of PvP in this game. Preferably melee oriented.

2. Is there any way to get Pure to show party frames outside a party so I can set them up?

3. Are any of the crafting skills useful? If so, which ones would you suggest?

3. Yes, depends on career.
DPS scav/butchering (tanks also works but have worse AoE farm specs, DPS DoK/WP are really nice scavs as you can easily farm champions for purple fragments)
Healers herbalism.
Main character salvager.
