[Zealot] fresh 40/43 zealot where do i invest my time?

Returning player who left on a fresh 40/43 zealot and Im making a comeback!

where should I be investing most of my time for gear?

gear is pretty awful so I dont mind rocking some PVE dungeons and I haven't done any yet so I'm just looking for whatever makes me most effective in rvr
-full annihilator set
-random 29-32 jewelry
-46 blue weapons
-34 purple cloak

Build is good, id take absorb ritual (if 2x zealots in party) and like to run with warped flesh tactic as well. Do Tier 4 epic quest that gives 150 pilfer proc, though this proc is not true dmg anymore so it does like 20-30 dmg on your zealot but lets hope they fix it.

Beastlord set, Vale-Walker set both are very good. Asap do pve until you get Sentinel Ring and When you get 6pc Vanquisher then you are set for ever you dont even need sove for heal zealot. Ofc it helps but 6pc vanq is still awesome

Genesis jewel
Fortress weapon
I would use focus minded instead of the Moral 2 you are using now. Vanq is pretty decent but in the end i would use 5 sov and 4 triumph but until you get to that point vanq is ok. You could go full triumph ( except the ring) after vanq but thats mandatory and you would have to invest more crests for it.

I used 6/7 sentinel, vanq boots and bestlord cloak until rr70 saving crests to afford triumphant set then 2x rr45 weapons +3 genesis. Back then I bought full conq but you can skip it potentially. About the build I suggest Ritual of Luncay and Theench's Grip then at rr50 take the stagger. Talismans all wounds, renown max heal crit then FS.

For warband builds you can check the guide in my signature for the entire progression of fresh 40 to BIS

I'm surprised more zealots don't run the Victorious 4 piece. The proc is nasty, and works with a more aggressive style of play.

I find I get targeted a lot while handing out stagger/silence so it helps survive that window of animosity from the ranged DPS.

If you're not getting hit much then it won't be any good. For me it frees me up to dominate the backline, and even bait some over-confident mdps out of position.

Most people won't feel comfortable with this style of play on a support, so I get it. I used to do the same thing on AM and, Run Between Worlds. It's so good for baiting mdps and separating the melee train.

For clarity this is the -140 main stat, +140 initiative proc. I forget what it's called.

Ok so it's the, "endure," proc. And it's only 110 not 140.

I recommend the handwaps and cowl for the %6 disrupt strike through. With the lotd set you can get to %9. This is a build to prioritize stagger/silence. This is for scenarios, and small man. It won't work well in Orvr/wb.

Hi

PvE! Get your Sentinel set at least. It will be replaced but the jewelry won't be for a long time as it allows you to slot powerful Soul talismans. One of the Influence weapons is an offhand with a Speed Proc that is very useful.

In addition, Gunbad (or any dungeon if you are a salvager) is a great way to make money, 2 of your BiS jewelry pieces come directly from your wallet.

Otherwise, War Crests. Save and get 6pc Triumphant ASAP. Early on take Genesis crests from bags to get your 2 or 3pc Genesis that you'll use for a long time, as well your Subjugator weapon which you upgrade into Fort Weapon. Gutslime is a good starter weapon or just Madcap (again, Gunbad), you can choose to invests War Crests into the Scenario weapons if you so choose.

Also be sure to get your pocket items (+1AP/S & 80HP/4)

(I'm not wearing my Gunbad Diamond but you use that over Genesis in most cases)
