Best Tank for solo RvR with DPS Shield Spec?

IB's damage is all physical, so good luck killing anything with a one handed weapon when everybody uses armor pots and reduce arpen. Any tank that deals magic damage Will do better than IB.

Oathstone does damage on block, so just hit the back or kite during oathstone. Easy.
Run and enjoy dot on move and free dmg from ib since you can't block or parry..

Any thoughts on BG/SM with dps-shield spec?

I have not played it but BG looks possible because the channel (enraged beating) doesn't appear to require 2H?

Whereas on SM the key DPS abilities: ether dance (channel), sapping strike (dot/backstab/crit-chance) and GWM (tactic +dmg & parry) all require a 2H.

Looking at BG there's not many abilities you miss out on for going snb. Just the 10% CTBC debuff from left tree.
