This whole train of thought started with the WS nerf/fix, so don't get all all worked up if i mention it.
If its a SOLO rdps killing a melee dps, what's the difference between now and x years ago?
Did they buff all rdps? Or the nerfing of rampage made them weaker vs solo rpds?
Please explain
FYI, I play an SW, so i know a bit of what I say.

Re: Patch Notes 02/10/2024
Well i haven't played mine in a couple of weeks, but yeah, I believe they are still mostly there. Combining of offensive crit, no cast time on assault stance for a significant defensive (see Squig Armor) There are more, we all know it. It goes back quite a way, look at the patch before the nerfing of Split Arrows.Everdin wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 9:12 amAre these SW buffs you can see in a room with us now?Akalukz wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 12:21 pmI think it is mostly the recent buffs to the SW class that has gotten a bit out of control, while seeing nerfs to the SH class. Re: Patch Notes 02/10/2024
you needed to go far afield to find something that can count as buff, a offensiv crit combining that affects all classes and the stance that never was on a cast time (but on a cooldown other then squig armor) and "there are more" I can help:Akalukz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 1:49 pmWell i haven't played mine in a couple of weeks, but yeah, I believe they are still mostly there. From 9/12/23 patchnotes
Bug Fixes
- Counterstrike - Tooltip corrected to match damage.
- Rapid Fire - Stat scaling multiplier corrected to match tick interval (from 0.70 to 0.50)
- Acid Arrow - Damage matches tooltip. Higher than before.
- Rain of Steel - Ticks 12 times instead of 11 times, so damage now matches tooltip.
Balance Changes
- Throat Shot - Base damage reverted back to live version 1.4.8, lower damage.
- Flame Arrow - Dot damage reverted back to live version 1.4.8, lower damage.
- Assault Stance - Removed Auto Attack damage and proc. Replaced with permanent 35% Auto Attack speed buff.
- Acid Arrow - Can now be also used in Skirmish Stance.
- Brutal Assault - No longer usable in Skirmish Stance.
- Eye Shot - Knockdown effect reduced to 2 seconds.
- Festering Arrow - No longer undefendable when Vengeful.
- Fell the Weak - No longer deals spirit damage when Vengeful.
- Sweeping Slash - No longer usable in Skirmish Stance.
- Exploit Weakness - Cooldown is no longer reduced when Vengeful.
- Shadow Sting - No longer undefendable when Vengeful.
- Powerful Draw - Reworked from 25% multiplicative to 15% additive armor penetration for Skirmish abilities.
- Flanking Shot - No longer has additional critical hit rate based on target health. Shadow Warrior already has a ranged finisher ability in Fell the Weak. This is now a higher damage positional ability, but doesn’t attempt to be a finisher at the same time.
- Opportunistic Strike - This effect can no longer be cleansed.
- Exploit Weakness - This effect can no longer be cleansed.
From 10/01/2024 Patchnotes
Balance Changes
- Whirling Pin - This ability can now be defended against. Snare duration reduced to 5s and snare potency reduced to 30%
- Ambush - Snare duration reduced to 3s. Range reduced to 65 ft and no longer benefits from range increases. Radius reduced to 20 ft. Now does 900 damage over 3 seconds.
- Throat Shot - Immunity timer lowered to 30s.
- Opportunistic Strike - Immunity timer lowered to 30s.
- Hunter's Fervor - Duration increased from 9s to 15s.
This had 15s duration in the old system, even though tooltip stated 9s. But at 9s it was essentially a net loss of AP for the SW themself as casting it prevented you from regenerating AP for 1.5s in addition to consuming 25 AP.
- Eye Shot - This ability will no longer knock down the target. Debuff duration reduced from 20s to 10s, ability cooldown reduced from 20s to 10s.
- Takedown - Snare duration reduced from 10s to 8s. While under the effect of Vengeance of Nagarythe this ability will knock down target for 2s. This ability will continue to build up even if you move.
- Split Arrows - The damage on Spiral-Fletched Arrow and Broadhead Arrow are now reduced by 20%.
----
This is what I can find in patch notes from the last year, very recent stuff and over all a big buff

From what I see, is that rdps in general feels better due to the shift in meta, that's it. SW has gotten nerfs, if anything, in recent times, not buffs as you say. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.

Re: Patch Notes 02/10/2024
Look, i am not gonna argue with you. It's easy to pick and choose Here are two for example
- Wrist Slash - Debuff and buff increased from 80 to 120 Initiative.
- Eye Shot - Debuff increased from 80 to 120 Initiative.
There have been changes that either directly affected the SW or as a result of a nerf to other classes made the SW perform better. Take your pick.
EDIT: I 100% enjoy playing my SW, i liked it better before the put a 20% nerf on the skirmish line, but hey, it still quite fun. and if they had a class with the same overall effectiveness on destro, the whine would be flowing freely. I mean can you imagine a Fester on Destro? Or a mid range AoE DPS with great defenese.

Re: Patch Notes 02/10/2024
No Fester, and not mid-range AoE, and has a pet. Don't think it has a ranged AoE Dot spreading -block / - parry stats either?forsa wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 10:25 pmYou know that there is a destro class called SH, right?Akalukz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 5:08 pm Look, i am not gonna argue with you. Re: Patch Notes 02/10/2024
Posion arraer has lower damage cause pet deals like +50% damage and no need to StanceDance coupled with best mobility bar none; mid aoe ranged damage is meh filler damage to ks, requires SM to be at least usable and gets SW pulled by GTDC/mara constantly, while SH has monstrous aoe damage in melee form and is a welcome in wb to the point of full goblin wbs.
Are you talking about tactics pierce defence? SH can spread it in melee, also not sure if pet can spread it or no.Don't think it has a ranged AoE Dot spreading -block / - parry stats either
Re: Patch Notes 02/10/2024
Poison Arraer, not AoE and is a spec point, BHA is core and can be made AoE.
SW has great mobility as well. Stance dance is much more dependable than pet mechanice
AoE mele or AoE Range... AoE range wins
Pierce defense is super critical in RvR a free -10 parry / -5 block spammable on 2 Range AoE classes on Order vs 1 mele aoe on destro?
As I said, SW is fun, but don't defend the fact it is over tuned in several situations. It's painfully obvious.
