That's not what the OP was asking for, though, is it?skutrug wrote:And how about improving this mind-numbingly stupid AI? Surely one could make a few improvements such as range-dps mob kiting, calling other mobs to help and using skill rotations dependant on target's HP.
Or is the AI entirely coded on the client?
PvE is probably never going to be as challenging as PvP, but it does not have to be abysmally repetitive and predictable.
And yes, I understand this would be much lower on the priority totem pole than getting the PQ to just move from stage one to stage two... but one can always dream right?
The first posts mention the joy of farming, as it is in <insert generic Korean MMO here>. That's pretty much what we had before.
And yes, I'm aware that PvE does not have to be tedious. The straight answer is that I prioritize PvP because it's both easier to get working and more interesting than whatever PvE can be made at the moment. That isn't going to change for me unless someone incentivizes me to do PvE first, which is not realistically going to happen.
Perhaps one of the other coders will decide to work on it? Until then, my personal focus will be on general bugs and PvP.
