I brought up the idea to gain weapons through a series of tasks, and personlize them in different ways.
Call them GarasMightyWeaponsOfDoom instead of souvereign weapons if the name is to misleading for the original idea

Not currently logged in, but trying to remember on top of my head how the Weapons are in item level and tier vs armor and accesory. And if we are in need of more weapon upgrades.
I asked this during a QnA on Tothmonras stream for the latest RoR QnA but think the guy asking the question didnt understand the difference in how item tiers worked or I worded it incorrectly.
ItemLevel weapons:
Fortress: 66
Bastion: 60
Scenario: 61
Accesories:
Genesis: 45
Huntersvale: 59
LOTD: 43-48
Sentinel: 54
Endgame Armor sets:
Triump: 65ish
Warlord: 70-75
Sove: 75-78
If itemlevel is to go by, I would think new accesory sets would/should be next new gearing options added to RoR. And then followed by weapons, unless Weapons & Armor are supposed to be on same tier then it would probably be time for Sove weapons. Atleat if we follow Itemlevel or however tiers are devided (Wargrimnir?)
Crafting your own weapon, sounds like fun though and more "personal" indeed!

When rr80 was max and Sovereign Wpns or how i perceiced them to be were dropping in First iteration of City Siege in Stage III on way to kill the king. Mini Instance of 5 bosses before the king. Any one of these could drop 66dps 1h with procs or 99dps 2h with procs. After rr100 patch then came 70dps "Sovereign" wpns and 2h 101.5dps but we are probably going closer for the rr80. Oh Colossus Wpn was 67dps or 100dps 2h but they had no talisman slots or procs so the 66dps 99dps wpns were better in most cases(Procs best fudge the rest) I think currently max 1h is under 60dps so wpns are basically Invader lvl and all classes used to have ALOT of more Procs and most of those procs are not in RoR anymore.
Like Bring back at least T4 epic quest wpn procs that RoR had 2016-2017. I do agree we really need new Jewelry/Cloak sets and best way to add them is bags + Inf Rewards. In Aor rr38 Inf wpns had Boost V which is 12% Crit dmg/9% Crit or Something else really bad or good, Like most things in Aor : D I found ols screenshot of Bloodfist (rr38) shaman staff that had 5% Heal crit but 300 spirit dmg proc on hit : D
I could really use the 5% Crit AND useful proc in rr38 inf wpns. If you make T4 epic quest wpns and rr38 inf wpns alot better it will help the gear cap not make it wider. EDIT; https://imgur.com/a/warhammer-online-it ... ck-NY9bkl7

Crafted mythic weapons is a good idea at first, but a no - go if you think about it.
We have now interesting event for crafted rings which everyone can make and have. There is no restriction, except rank 40.
The same CANNOT work for new (and strongest) weapons in the game. Why ?
- mythic (or sovereign) weapons should require high renown rank the same way like fortress weapons do. Probably RR 80.
- they have to be balanced in power and created by developers (or players will create unbalanced and totally OP monstrosity weapons)
- there should be serious effort even for high rank veterans to get these weapon, including city sieges and LotD
BTW. LotD vendors & currency for mythic weapons are already in the game

The rings are very good, but not really overpowered, why should it be other with weapons, they would be more optimized for the use case, but I think thats okay, I personally loved gearing up in DAoC, you could minmax in every direction you want. Damage is current going through the roof, I'd rather not see any changes to weapon damage unless it's a nerf.

Only people playing during the 2 lowest activity weeks of the year can get these rings. Rings should decay like all event items, or ring crafting made into permanent profession.
