Please don't consider this a personal attack or something. I read a lot of forum posts here and know that you never write stuff to bug people off.Omegus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 4:17 pmlmao I haven't played properly for like 1-2 years.
So is it a Nurgle helmet (or a "plague" helmet close enough to be a Nurgle helmet) or not? As for the dyes: purple/pink can stay, as can the generic metals and white/black
I'll tell you now, there are plenty of ROR capes I would like to see deleted from the game, for reasons varying from lore-appropriateness and just overall art design/quality![]()
I only want to say that I fully understand your personal view on this matter, but it should be considered that this game is a role-play game after all, and more variations of possible item looks increase player satisfaction.
Also, "lore-appropriateness" is a hot debate. Do we speak about Warhammer Fantasy lore or Age of Reckoning lore? To narrow it a bit down for Chosen appearances, no lore from both universes forbids the existence of any chaos god Chosen among other greater warbands of a specific god to a degree. An example of the Age of Reckoning are the various champions from other chaos gods that give you quests.
OK, maybe it's a little unfair example because you probably meant the more "exotic" and goofy extra appearances we got. But after all, Age of Reckoning is a really confusing alternative timeline in which we see and get things that are almost impossible in the old lore of Warhammer Fantasy.
The thing is, most people don't ask for absolutely absurd appearances; some do, maybe, but most people want to play out their fantasies about normal fractions of the Warhammer universe. Sadly, there is no other Warhammer Fantasy MMORPG where you can do this, so is it really that bad to have a bit more freedom to design your own character?
Again, it's not meant to sound hostile toward your opinion.
