Greenskin RvR
Greenskin RvR
Howdy. I have been away awhile. Watched a few vids and got the itch to play again. Wanted to hear opinions on a solid solo Greenskin build that can help out the team when in rvr. I played all four classes at launch (shaman main). I am sure a lot has changed. Thanks. Have a good one!

Re: Greenskin RvR
Hoping BO will be some fun. Sounds like they had some nerfs from what I read. I'll try and keep the healer alive and do a little dps. Hanging out in T1 last weekend and trying to keep renown rank up close to my class rank. Is that the way to go for leveling?
Re: Greenskin RvR
Welcome back, shamman always do well at all levels of play. Can't go wrong there, BO's are in a meh spot, some like a lot others not so much. The idea is to keep renown equal or above Character Rank. Its hard to do at times though. Once you hit lvl 16 you can come up and play with the main groups.

If you are focusing on RvR and scenarios while leveling you won't have anything to worry about. BO is pretty fun. If you want to cheese solo greenskin play a shaman, haBollocks wrote: Mon Jun 03, 2024 7:28 pm Hoping BO will be some fun. Sounds like they had some nerfs from what I read. Quick Shootin Squig Herder and Gork Shaman are excellent solo options.
Fley - Zealot Domoarigobbo - Shaman
Squid - Squig Squit - B.O.
Black Toof Clan

And by "play with the main groups", what it actually boils down to is being farmed like a speedbump by premades and 10 year veterans who keep poop socks at their desks.Akalukz wrote: Tue Jun 04, 2024 12:27 am Welcome back, shamman always do well at all levels of play. Re: Greenskin RvR
Unfortunately @ralgurwho isn't wrong. The game's bolster systems needs an update, and gear progression sub RR60 needs a boost. Officer should open up at lvl 20, conq at 30, Vanquisher 40 (CR & RR) Invader by RR55. In addition, i don't think gear is the true culprit. I honestly believe it is Renown points that allow characters to become defensive and offensive monsters. Make renown points 1:1 until RR50 and then make them .5 points after that.ralgurwho wrote: Wed Jun 12, 2024 4:37 pmAnd by "play with the main groups", what it actually boils down to is being farmed like a speedbump by premades and 10 year veterans who keep poop socks at their desks.Akalukz wrote: Tue Jun 04, 2024 12:27 am Welcome back, shamman always do well at all levels of play. Re: Greenskin RvR
Thanks for the replies. I jumped in on the BO as planned but I was having fun getting back into the game and doing PQ's and pve stuff that I quickly hit level 16 before maxing my rr. I did my guard and taunts while out on lakes but wasnt a lot of help. I thought that I would enjoy t2 and pve getting some more levels, but quickly got frustrated that my snb guy could barely survive 2 enemies a level below me.
So, I tried a few different toons out. Had a really good time on a WP and tried to stay in rvr the entire time which worked out a lot better rr wise. Level 13 and 23 rr. But hot dammit, I stayed in the Norse are coming hard pq solo, mostly, which was nice because i could complete the pq on my own ( BO had a hard time) and got maybe 20 massive bags. I was trying for the chest piece because of the recruit ward, already had boots. Good ol rng, got like 16 boots and 4 gloves. Zero body armor. Said screw it, already too much exp and bought the chest with pve crests.
Followed the T1 rvr lakes route with few other toons, do that until RR cap I assume? But now I feel like I am wasting some time by not working on one guy and getting him/her to that rr80. Also really learning how to play the class. But, usually good fun in t1 lakes especially when there is close to an even fight going on. I have been running a lot of supplies. Haha.

Re: Greenskin RvR
If u want to monkey all over solo then shaman. Just tab dots/ hots and u will beat anything ingame solo
SH is also really overtuned and has an op ranged skirm build that can rvr and a melee squig build that is like the best solo melee build ingame and great in warbands.
