They are overpowered. The entire healer archetypes in the game are OP.
[SM] 85+, [WL] 80+, [SW] 80+, [WH] 85+, [AM] 80+, [Kotbs] 80+
[BO] 80+, [Mara] 80+, [Sham] 60+ [SH] 50+ [WE] 70+

Facts don't hit right for many ppl, i have played both sides, seen it up close on both sides, YEAH shaman is on another lvl, it's a great class, easy to defend it's self and heal and kill... perfection. ... would love for dwarves to have their run speed, tbh. just that, not going to get greedy, but a fair trade with out getting much, just to escape these goblins is all.

Its common mistake.
Only place where they strong (hybrid sham is god lvl) is 1vs1 duels or smallscale against people who dont have pocket heals, wich they kite, dot and outsustaine. In grouplay dps am/sham is near wasted slot in grp. Its basically weak dot based version of bw/sork without crit mechanics and actual burst(especially after channell tactics removal) compared to normal dps, wich is crucial if u want to kill anything. Even DPS RP is obnoxiously strong in 1vs1, dps WP/dok can kill any melle dps in duel, thats just little mental payback for healer players.
Noximilien - AM, Severi - SM, Ravandin - SW, Celebor - WL, Ernwald - WH, Demandred - BG, Mesana - Sork, Beliar - DoK.

DPS shamans do not heal for much at all. They use divine fury which is a flat 20% healing debuff. In int gear their 2 second cast main heal does like 900, which is way less than what it does for a healing shaman (1600+). They also don't usually spec into the hot (which IMO is worse for healing than the AM channel, as shaman lacks burst healing once you don't have dmg mechanic points), though if they did I mean... In int gear it's gonna heal for like 300 a tick. Hardly crazy

If they do spec that far into healing tree then their dmg is horrible and all they can do is 1v1.

Seems some are instinctively defensive about their class which I understand. Some seem to be referring to either 1v1 or mass rvr. Others agree.

I'm referring to roam based rvr. Shaman isn't just oppressive in 1v1s where it is I suppose the king but all roam whether 2v2 4v5 6v3 or whatever.

The game would be far healthier if the roam was more contested between factions and order tanks and warrior priests etc could roam without the terror of sham squiggie teams just farming them

Lol they've already been "toned down" with removal of the well known laser beam -- if that gets brought back, some will definitely be having some more difficulty to 1v1 them.

Shamans are not kings of 1v1. DPS shamans are squishy, and healing spec'd shamans lack dps. It's strong, but not op.

You also can't cast I'll Take That/Balance Essence on the move and you can't cast any spell from your back. Shaman am is a shadow of its former self

An IB/WH (main?) complaining about loosing to a shaman

I agree nerf them
