That's an excellent perspective on things. People are too focused on kdr or whatever it is.

Thats also correct. But I don't want to accept that the tactical options to do something about it are taken away just so that the bigger one has an even easier time finishing off the weaker one.

Guerrilla warfare must be possible even in warhammer. And that includes being able to disappear sometimes.
Nothing has changed this way, you still can warreport away to be somewhere else, just not in front of a warband. The ability to be quick somewhere else has not changed, you die -> go somwhere else, just a few seconds more to reach warcamp then with WR. Only your feelings changed (and your kdr).

I feel the only way to decrease blobbing is to increase RVR map size and add x2 BO's or more. Blobbing will not be able to dominate control over the map over smaller multiple groups or WB's. Maybe even have the extra BO's open up once there is a certain number of players in the RVR zone.

As for the WR, it was never designed to escape death, it was designed to bring you to it.

Just alt+f4 then, basically the same "tactic" if you really care about k/d that much that the idea of dying to mass numbers is just too much to bear, even though it's the same end result.

A little qol change would be to remove the timer if not rvr flaged

The only people cheering about the WR changes are smallscale/WB players who were denied easy kills before.

Best change in the past weeks. It's called war report for a reason and not the "great escape-button".

I agree.

On the issue at hand. I always saw the War Report as little more than a means for players to quickly move from one zone to another when applicable. That it could also be used as an occasional escape tool was a bonus feature. It was fine as implemented. In regard to the change I also agree it was unnecessary.
