BS timed Speed Run quests

not sure if it is only hearsay or if it is true but the portal bug happens only if you use the teleport while mounted. i did bs with pug on thursday and we did it in 1h and 30 minutes wiping 2 times and having ppl ported to IC thanks to the bug so I suppose 1h and 10 minutes is actually a reasonable time if you are properly set. I didn't know about the timer being off, thanks for the head up.

How can a time of 1.10 hours be reasonable if you just contradicted yourself by saying that you had teleport problems?

No you missed the point. What I'm saying is that we did it in 1.30 hours even though we had multiple handicap:

Teleport bug
2 wipes
Unoptimal party due to being pug

So without the handicaps, 1.10 hours seems reasonable to be.

Now, this is completely unrelated. If you clear the wings till the first bosses before accepting the quest can you still complete the quest? If so, I guess that would be quite the loophole since it would let you save a lot of time

Yes you can. Accidentaly we tested it by most of the group wiping before the first boss by trying to bypass mobs. We deleted the speedrun quest, retook it and found out the mobs we did kill didn't respawn.

I also thought that it happens only if you are mounted, but yesterday i was not mounted and got teleported to IC just before the last boss and thus ruining the timed quest because i also had to avoid all the mobs we left behind on the way there and some of em stun you and kill you, ultimately had to die 2 times untill i made it back and wasted alot of time.

They just need to fix the age old teleport bug, time otherwise is fine.

Two tries, two sucesses with 5-10 min time to spare.

5 min impossible the timer does not correspond to reality.

5-10min is an estimated time span in between which our time left on the quest fell, reading comprehension please.

The fact still remains that 40 weeks to get 1 colour is out of your mind.

Same for the other rewards, they should be at least halved and the black colour increased to 4 weeks maximum.

Sorry my fault I had misread your message, yes I confirm it is the only currently valid way, cumbersome but valid.

On theory you could do gb, bbbe, hv and bs speed runs twice per week which means 8 crests. So by that the prices are not so big beside the colour which should be lowere to 20.
After all speed runs are not ment to be done by everyone, no matter gear and group setup.
