Sentinel Soul Explanation

Can someone please explain how the Sentinel Soul's work?

From what I'm understanding, there's 2 vendors:
ORDER: Malnourished Margaret The Eternal Citadel, Altdorf
DESTRO: Blump Inevitable City, The Eternal Citadel

Are they located in the same place you'd get your Sov gear?

You sell them any item from BB/BE and they will give you a soul. What do you do with the souls, is there better items somewhere you can buy with them?

There are Influence Weapons you can get from both your City Dungeon (Sentinel set) and Bastion Stair (Bloodlord Set).

If you pick a weapon with Influence but decide later you wish you'd picked up a different one, due to how the influence system works, normally you'd be screwed -- that's where the Souls come in. First, you can exchange your current weapon for a Soul. Then you pay both the Soul and a gold fee to pick up a different weapon.

These are quality-of-life options that were added so players would never feel like they were out of luck if they grabbed the wrong weapon type, or wanted to change builds on some classes.
