Returning for Reckoning

Hi! I'm thinking about returning to this game after...years... question is: as solo player is it viable to play as tank archetype or should i roll damage dealer? [i mean solo SC queue and random RVR warbands, with bigger focus on solo sc]

KotBS was my first real char while this game was released years ago, but now i'm looking at chosen/BO
