Don't get me wrong, I understand where you come from. In an optimal world I would agree with your statement but we are not in optimal environment variables as already stated by me. I main a healer and my general PoV when I am playing solo atm is usually this (staying within the limits of your example): 11 other people decided (mostly likely fully PUGging, lacking usually tanks to guard the excessive amount of Slayers/WH/WL's) they want to fight a premade or double (most likely range kiting group, to which they already fed in the previous 2 SCs) while they are usually not organised and most likely everyone is fluffing their own target without assisting. So am I the deciding factor when it comes to "kill the fun of others" when I then suggest to surrender at minute 11 ? I think you will see it's somewhat easy to judge taken things out of context. If a group abandons you in Orvr should they then also be reported? Nevertheless the rules regarding scenarios should be clear and this implicitly should involve changing scenario environments towards it. Either a barriers or open WC and not inconsistently chosen mechanisms that imply that one could for instance shoot with WC canons.Everdin wrote: Tue Jul 25, 2023 3:04 pmDoes not have to be 0 in every stats, if you join with 12 other people, and even if you get your a... spanked, if there are 11 people still fighting and you decide not to go back to your team just leave or accept beeing reported, the other 11 not sabotage your game, you are sabotaging theirs.Hugatsaga wrote: Tue Jul 25, 2023 2:52 pmI didn't screenshot that /sc chat convo but there was definitely some threats and back and forth going on. People can check the scoreboard and if they see someone they dont like having 0's in every category and still being in sc, its probably a report. Kinda toxic if you ask me but it is the state of the game now.Everdin wrote: Tue Jul 25, 2023 2:18 pm I'm pretty sure nobody get reported if the own faction already in the wc (how to find out if everyone is in the camp), as long as fights are going on, participate or leave...or get reported. Same as with surrender, if you surrender and the vote is against ending the scenario, everybody is free to leave
Edit:
finally someone confirms exactly what I see and I see similar reactions in people I do play with.JohnnyWayne wrote: Tue Jul 25, 2023 4:15 pmI have queued 6 man premade SCs last weekend for 2 hours. I always got imbalanced pug parties vs 2 full sov mostly ranged destro premades. Players were stacking on destro side (which is, by the way, symptomatic for balance issues) in order to farm and dodge actual competition.sioding wrote: Mon Jul 24, 2023 3:47 pm Heya,
the exact problem is this:
when you want to have the weekly rewards you have to bring in a bit more commitment than a simple click on the queue button.ShadowWar wrote: Mon Jul 24, 2023 12:29 pm ...That's totally fine and okay, but the weekend scenario events force me into there if I want to get the weekly rewards. ...
Be part of a group or create one. Make sure you have everything that helps to keep the group alive and if you are able to, then
choose some dps characters who benefit from each other.
Weekend Warfront events are not mandatory - nor are they planned for PUGs. Join a nice guild - create groups - don't play alone.
I've said it before, open source the code for the match maker and I''ll try and build a proper optimization algorithm around it, that still makes sure to kick off matches. Currently the match maker feels like it is just feeding pugs to the side that has more premade players. Which is destro due to the state of rDPS in the game and the SCs that were picked for this event.
To be honest, I feel like, I'll be so burnt out of this game after the event, that I will stop playing entirely. I am already and now you are forcing people back in with limited time bis trinkets by using fear of missing out....
