One of the worst ideas I've ever heard. Yeah punish the ppl getting farmed for not coming out of WC and getting farmed more.

dicordant SC was created to play as solo/duo, if the abuse is really a problem, only the priorization has to stop. Whole point of discord SC is pug queue, so keep standard SCs as premade possible, and keep discord as solo queue only.
All the arguments here for removing duos are based on three wrong assumptions.
First, most of the DS Scenarios have no premade in it, just various numbers of duos/solos, this is all in your alls heads because you are not able to accept that you are not guaranteed to win a fight but have to perform better then your opponent in a pvp game. In a 12vs12 fight 12 people will loose the fight, if you are one of them, maybe it's also your fault, deal with it.
Second, assuming that my first point is wrong, there are a big number of filthy premades abusing the system, the fact that these threads are the only threads in this forum without finger pointing to one side shows that this is not a order/destro only thing. So even these scenarios would not be that unfair (in the outcome).
Third, you assume there are hundreds of people here only waiting that duos are removed from pug so all these "premades" are spread over the 10 simultaneously running DS. In fact, there is a minority of player who only que it, if there are two DS simultaneously, you will still face this "premades", maybe not full but with 3 or 4 people. (presumed premades are really this big of a problem).
Just to make one thing clear, beside weekend warfront where I group up with my guild, most of my SC I play DS myself, mostly solo, only a few times duo, and same as you all, I often get stomped by a overwhelming force of enemys, both sides. But other then you want to accept, a lot of the problems are within your own teams.
It starts with missing healers/tanks and goes over the lack of teamplay and ends with the wrong or even not use of basic functions of the class people play.

The matchmaker isn't the problem, the archtypes people play at a given time are the issue and can't be fixed by dev intervention.. When only dps queue, what do you expect?Kendaric wrote: Tue Feb 14, 2023 4:09 pm Reducing crests and/or renown gain for surrendering is not an option.
Punishing the losing side for surrendering will only cause players not to leave their camp if they're losing.
What we need is an improved matchmaker that generates more balanced matches. That will fix constant surrenders.

This game is populated by "teamplayers" and "alone Players" ... if Teamplayers queue solo, they will still recognize each other and play together while they farm "alone Players".
It will, however, make it more difficult for them to organize/coordinate. And that alone should be some help...
Hell, even if there was the option in a sc for 2 groups each 2-2-2, people fail to fix groups and don't swap and remain with 4 tanks in one group and 4 healers in the other one. The time before the sc starts is originally meant to fix groups.
Your last statement sounds problematic to me. Why do you want to make it more difficult to organize in a game centered around teamplay with 3 archtypes? Instead of moving peope towards more teamplay, you suggest to make teamplay more difficult in order to make it more fair for people who refuse to play as a team?
Dying is no option.

I see a lot of people complaining about there are not enough tanks/healers on the SC, but they only are playing DPS.
If you want more Healers and tanks on SC, play Healers/tanks. And so your side will win
