What does this ability do? I've tested on mobs and players, and all I notice is an animation surrounding the armor. Nothing happens when I run through mobs or players.

The ability text basically describes it all. You just get a channeled speed buff. Nothing happens when you hit enemies.

It's also a small knockback (knockbacks in pve work like knockdown), doesn't give immunities but obeys them of course. It was gutted out so bad that it's borderline useless skill now in my opinion, Flee is better speed buff with only caveat that it drops morales.

I have never seen any knock back from this ability. Is this confirmed?

Way smaller. Like a couple of meters. But PvE enemies get knocked down instead of the punt.
And yes works like it says in the tooltip.

You can count it as an AOE interupt, since it disrupts chanels and casting times of others.
