What’s the easiest role?
Re: What’s the easiest role?
Rdps. Pug up a scenario, set your assist macro to another DPS and hope he picks good targets. If that DPS keeps selecting tanks or just spams aoe in a blob then assist someone else. Do that and you'll be Pugstar Supreme and better than 90% of the DPS players in this game.

Re: What’s the easiest role?
I'd say WP is one of the harder healers to play well, it involves playing close to the frontline as a squishy class. It's also not mobile to get out of bad situations quickly.

Re: What’s the easiest role?
depends what you wanna do
some classes are easier in orvr than scs, like magus and engi - easy as hell in open but very difficult in scs due to CQ maps messing with their set up times. tanks are really easy in orvr (snb or not not there's little diff between spamming htl or your big 2h debuff), but really difficult in SCs because you have so many ST abilities that all have to be used properly. healers also fall into this category - in orvr you can just hide behind everyone and spam cleanse/grp heal and watch netflix if you wish but in SCs everyone is gunning for you all of the time and it is constant stress
conversely mdps are rather simple in SCs if you know how to assist or pick the correct target, your tank should peel, cc and debuff for you, your healers are keeping you alive and mdps 'rotations' are incredibly simple, but really hard in orvr because of how difficult and risky it is to get in close vs the rdps gunline and tank wall. sw/sh are much the same as you can't just sit back and bomb like other rdps can, but your mobility lets you carry some SCs
classes that are fairly easy everywhere are wh/we and bw/sorc

Re: What’s the easiest role?
pls just dont play SW. idk why other people here say that class has mobility, when in fact it doesn't. it has one self-knockback skill that gets bugged 50% of the time and you dont get knockbacked at all. even if you do, you're still dead. there's one tactic that gives you extra move speed, but it's so bad that nobody of SWs i've seen runs it. tryed to run it myself for sometime, but it's not worth it because you still die, and you lose one tactic that could at least somewhat increase your abysmall dmg.
same can be said for engie. it has one nice trick (magnetpull), so good wb might need 1 engie, and that's it. you don't deal dmg, you magnetpull, you're not a dps, you're a one-skill-pony. and considering order engie population, i'd say we don't need another

Re: What’s the easiest role?
sw have great mobility, its called kiting, not waiting until the melee is already upon you and hoping your self punt will save your ass every time

Re: What’s the easiest role?
easy < medium < hard
healer < DPS < tank
As a tank, you have to be close to your enemy, your position is very important, and you care about friends and enemies too.
As a DPS, you care only about yourself and about your enemies. Ranged is easier to play, but harder to master.
As a healer you can stay at maximum possible range (150 feet) and still be effective. Yes, you care about all your friends, but you will never be without a healer, because you are one of them
This is my personal point of view, as a player who has all these archetypes at renown rank 80+.

Re: What’s the easiest role?
Chosen RvR tank...so easy you can sleep while guard/follow because of the auras that plays for you.
For destro dps i dont see any easy class to play
Order you can try Kotb, another very easy tank but much more boring to play due to ugly figure.
Dps you can try slayer, weak in early game but the mechanic is simple; spam rampage + ID+ Retribution + Flurry
