Broken language packs

Since last patch they seem to be broken, specifically NPCs that sell items. Is there any way or ETA for a fix to this? I enjoyed game voices on my native language every now and then.

And just another question, is there any project about translating text strings to the current state of RoR? If so, how could I join?

Ok, there seems to be a workaround just for the text: do not use the launcher to set the language, instead type the command

/language X where X is the language you want to set, eg. 2 for french or 3 for german
